Melitta Easy Top Timer 1010-15, filter coffee machine with glass jug, programmable warming time, black stainless steel

Used this for a couple of years and it works really well. Coffee is never mild and extracts well, you'd have to be quite a coffee fanatic to really have an issue with the coffee made in my opinion. The timer feature is very minimalist, just let's you set the time and a time for the coffee to be made in the morning etc. Easy to refill and coffee papers are quite cheap and probably get slightly nicer coffee than reusable filters.

I am now on my second of these Melitta coffee makers. We broke the jug on the first one and it was cheaper to buy a whole new machine than just the glass jug! It is a breeze to use and to clean and the coffee is perfect! The clock and timed start function are useful features and the stay warm function is adjustable to around 30 minutes.

Cup indication on tank and jug are hard too read waste of time having these on the machine, also the water tank mist up in side so the level indicator marking cannot be seen. So these are the two items that are not so good apart from that the machine is well designed and a pleasure to use coffee is nice and hot and having the coloured indicators for timer and normal use is nice, the filter paper holder is really nice it swings around to remove and fit papers also putting the coffee in. Yes I would recommend this product

Firstly, I paid £20 for this machine to replace a broken French press. Thought it would be easier as it could brew larger volumes.It’s really easy to use - add the water, pop in a filter and add the coffee. Switch it on and away it goes. I weigh the coffee according to the amount of water and I find 30g for 6 cups is fine for my taste. People moaning that there isn’t an option for brew strength need to remember that it’s a £20 machine.No issues with leaking - it’s got a mechanism where the jug presses on the button to release the coffee. It drips down into the jug fine and has several holes to help this process. Never had an issues with leaks and I’ve used the machine about 40 times so far. Keeps the coffee hot and on the odd occasion where I haven’t finished the pot, I just pour another cup and microwave it for 45 seconds.Jug is glass - easy to clean. Very happy with it.

Have various machines. Some older than others. This works really well, timer a bonus but have not used. Cup sizes marked are meaningless. Filled two mugs with water and poured it into tank. Now have a little dot as a guide. Noise absolutely fine, cleaning super easy, use very easy. Don’t grind beans for this just use pre-ground and it tastes fine. Three uses will be all it takes to make it perfect for you. Have noticed some coffee shops are actually bad at coffee!. Sometimes preheated pot. Like my coffee hot. Excellent value for money. When I come across other filter machine I have I will bin. Coffee quite cheap to buy as are filters. Don’t drink filtered all day sometimes have instant, pods, etc but like this best. 2-3/4ish mugs max though.

Plug in, set clock, wash through (with water only) twice. Insert a filter (5 supplied gratis) Add your coffee, fill your water tank and press start. Couldn't be any easier. If you're impatient you can remove the jug and get a brew before the tank has finished, no spills or dripping. The hotplate switches off after a certain amount of time, 20, 40 or 60 minutes can be programmed. Any longer than that you'd have a 'burnt' brew anyway so it's perfect if you leave home and forget to switch it off. Affordable price for a great name in coffee world.

Easy to operate, timer works well and simple to set up. Works with other brands of filter paper only fault I can find is the markings for number of cups are on the coffee jug handle and a little difficult to see. Great value for a simple coffee machine.

Perfect taste, perfect temperature, simple and ergonomic design. Melitta make great drip filter coffee makers, unfortunately you can’t get them in Australia, so had buy from Germany. Works out a little,pricy, but not too much more than the 2 poor offerings available here.

R.I.P✝️Machen wir uns nichts vor, solche Geräte gibt's nicht mehr!Also musste etwas Neues her und ich bin bei Melitta hängen geblieben.Brühzeit wirklich fix, die easytop wird mir viel Zeit ersparen. 1080 Watt max.✔️Geschmack ist wirklich gut, aber mit Permanent Filter erst perfekt. ✔️Bedienbarkeit ist wirklich unkompliziert, kein unnötiger Schnickschnack und alles sehr übersichtlich. ✔️Timer Funktion ist wirklich praktisch, einfach zu erlernen.✔️Automatische Abschaltung, 20, 40 und 60 Minuten Dauer regelbar. ✔️Beleuchtung lässt sich bei Bedarf abschalten, für die Umwelt und den Geldbeutel sehr gut. ✔️Reinigen ist gut möglich, bewegliche Teile abbaubar. ✔️Kanne & Filter tropfen nicht, ganz wichtiger Aspekt wie ich finde. ✔️Heizplatte unlackiert, da löst sich auf Dauer nichts ab.✔️Edelstahloptik, rundet das schlanke Erscheinungsbild gut ab und geringe Höhe perfekt für Aufstellung unter Hängeschrank.✔️Nicht so gelungen:Tassen Anzeige bzw. Skalierung. ❌Edit: Hab doch eine Skalierung entdeckt, die aber fast überhaupt nicht erkennbar ist!Die Kanne kann man nicht einhändig, sprich ohne Festhalten der ganzen Kaffeemaschine rausziehen.Sonst zieht man die ganze Maschine mit, die Kanne hängt in der Heizplatten Vertiefung fest!Wirklich unpraktisch, schnell mal einen Kaffee einschütten geht so nicht. ❌Edit: Mit etwas Gefühl geht's mittlerweile mit einer Hand!Der Wassertank Deckel leckt etwas, wenn man ihn nach dem Kaffee kochen öffnet.Aber wirklich nur sehr wenig, trotzdem läuft es hinten die Maschine herunter. ❌Fingerabdrücke und Spritzer, alles gut zu sehen.Abwischen ist dann doch Pflicht und zwar sofort nach Gebrauch. ❌Fazit:Schlanke, elegante Kaffeemaschine, mit sehr guter Brühzeit.Die über 1000 Watt zahlen sich aus, andere Hersteller liegen im Schnitt bei 800 Watt!Wenig Schnickschnack bei der Elektronik, leicht zu bedienen und um so weniger kann kaputt gehen.Hoffentlich! 😉Abschalt Automatik, 20, 40, oder 60 Minuten regelbar.Praktische Timer Funktion, leicht erlernbar.Beleuchtung ist abschaltbar wie es sich gehört.Die Melitta easytop hat ein paar Schwächen, die aber nicht sehr ins Gewicht fallen wie ich finde.Markierung mittels Stift am Wassertank anbringen, Problem gelöst und Füllmenge passt dann.Maschine festhalten, wenn man die Kanne heraus nimmt, oder besser langsam machen.Kann ich echt mit leben, auch das kleine Problem mit dem Tank Deckel ist nicht der Rede wert.Die Vorteile überwiegen einfach, der Kaffee ist heiß und schmeckt! 👍Daher ⭐⭐⭐⭐ kann ich vergeben, Preis/Leistung passt für mich.Lieferzeit super per DHL und die Verpackung war sicher. 👍👍👍Edit: Stern Abzug für Kratzerbildung auf der Heizplatte und der Maschine direkt.Leider verkratzt die Kanne alles und das nach kurzer Zeit schon!Die Kaffeekanne hängt nun einmal fast immer etwas fest beim herausziehen und hinterlässt dabei unansehnliche Kratzer.Und man sieht eh jeden Fitzel und Fingerabdrücke auf der ganzen Maschine, ewiger Putzalarm!Schade, ansonsten finde ich die Maschine klasse.😔

Die Kaffeemaschine ist optisch schön und ist ihren Preis wert.

The boiling of the water is fast: coffee starts dripping instantly. Coffee is very tasty and despite the low price there are absolutely no problems with a "plastic taste" (which regularly happens with low priced coffee machines).
