It's amazing, at first, I was scared because many reviews said it wouldn't let you capture on most mirrorless cameras, after some minor research I realized that all you have to do is make sure your camera is set to manual on every aspect and also turn on "shoot without lens" it does not have autofocus since as I said before is a manual lens. I'm a beginner photographer using a canon Eos R100, got the lens today and did some research and took some pictures to see how it would work. I'm happy with it.

Did not work on the Canon R6. Had to return.

Good picture quality not to big

As a new photographer, the price and nice reviews appealed to me and I thought to try it. It’s nice for the price. However you do have to somewhat reconfigure your whole camera settings to get this lens to work with your camera. I use Lightroom but the raw images would still be somewhat blurry when zooming in, even though the photo is focused on the subject. But again, for the price and the natural bokeh it has, it’s pretty nice! As for me, I’ll be returning this lens.

Got for my canon R50. Works great just have to be sure to change settings to snap without lens as this lens doesn’t have grooves to be read. It has decent weight not light weight, but far from heavy. Fits my camera perfectly with a tight fit.

I specifically bought this lens because the pictures showed a compact size. The actual RF mount lens is not compact at all. It is nearly the same length as the Canon 85mm, with an extra inch added at the base that is not present in any of the product imagery. But the quality at 1.8 is also terrible. The image is so foggy with chromatic aberration so as to make the images basically unusable. The combination of these two issues make this a hard DO NOT RECOMMEND.

マニュアルフォーカスながらF1.8と明るいレンズが、1万円ちょいでお値打ち品です。開放付近での撮影はやはり色収差が気になります。そしてメーカ品ではないので Canonの現像ソフトDPP4では デジタル・レンズ・オプティマイザ機能が使えないのが玉に瑕です。お値段を考えれば使い方限定ですが 良さそうです。

It is a clear winner in terms of price and performance. You will miss the auto focus function. Once you get used to it, you can nail the focus. The build quality is good. I am happy to use it on my R8. The picture speaks.

١-لزم تتاكد من نوع العدسه اللي تركب على كامرتك عشان ما تشتريها و ما تركب بالاخير هذي نوعها RF و اغلب كاميرات كانون RF بس اتاكد ٢-الكاميرا ما تتعرف على العدسه تلقائيا انا يوم شريتها و ركبتها يطلع بشاشة MF و ما تصور الكاميرا بسبب ان الكاميرا تحكم خاريجي ما تتعرف على الكاميرا الحل كمرتي كانون مدري يختلف في باقي الكاميرات او لا (اضغط MENU) —> رح للقائمة اللي بالبرتقالي و تروح صفحه 3 و فيه خيار اسمه(تحرير الغالق بدون عدسة ) حطه ON و تنحل المشكلة و شكراً الخلاصه العدسة جميله جدا و تعطي تفاصيل لكن معقده شوي للمبتدئين

値段を考えると…案外おもしろい

Love this lens for its affordability and great bokeh. Has nice adjustment for aperture and focus.
