One was good, one was bad. Kind of like my children. **Q: What makes this a "blues" harmonica?** A: Nothing. It’s just marketing. It’s how you play it. I have a regular Hohner diatonic that is easy to bend notes. Minor is just playing in the 6th mode. In G, it’s E (GABCDE); in C, it’s A (CDEFGA). If you play in E on a C Harmonica, it’s in Phrygian (3rd) mode. Google “music 7 modes” for more details on that. If you have a song in E minor and you want to play on a C harmonica, transpose it to A minor or just play the same holes you would on the G. **Q: Is this pvc or abs?? the description lists them both in different places. i will not give a child anything with toxic pvc!** A: Please ignore the childish and rude reply above. I can’t remember the last time I had to play anything in the key of F 🤔 Anyway I went for this Fender Deluxe because it was cheap with quick delivery, if it fell apart after just one song it wouldn’t have been a disaster but it actually worked well straight out of the box, in tune, with a nice gap between all the reeds, no sharp corners to cut your lips on so pretty much playable instantly. Okay, it may not be the right badge, it may not last as long as a big name brand with steel reeds but man alive it did it’s job and did it exceptionally well for a very low price. I’ve paid six times as much for some makes and they were impossible to play out of the box.
