It's a proper Hanko
I'm pleased with the hanko I received, the characters are what i specified in the order and I just randomly picked a wood and it's a nice dark brown with even grain. The case with ink pad is a bit cheap but servicable, but I didn't expect much on that, I just wanted a quality Hanko (I worked in Tokyo and Yokosuka a bit and got the bug to have one). All in all, I think the price was reasonable for the quality.
