Worked great and then died inexplicably after a couple of months. This is the second charger of this brand that this has happened for me. The first time, I just thought it was bad luck. Now, it's obvious the product is terrible. DO NOT BUY!!!

HP direct replacement
This charger actually works just like the HP one and the laptop recognizes it as an HP peripheral, so you don't get the annoying notification to 'use an HP' part. Very good quality.

Dead Charger in 30 Days
Stopped working after only a little over 30 days. Used daily then just quit working.

The charger is identical to the one which came with the laptop and works fine.

HP Envy laptop says this is not an HP charger BUT it works great
When you plug in for the first time, have your laptop open and active. You'll see the indicator in the corner that it's not an actual HP device. Same thing that happens when you use non HP printer cartridges, but just move on. Charges at the same fast rate of the OEM one.

Works, but....
Charges the laptop as advertised, but the laptop knows it is not an HP (not sure how - maybe voltage tolerance variation or other electrical parameter). Costs less than the HP version, but have a nagging concern when using this that something is not right with the charger, and if I have a problem with the laptop, the generic power supply issue will be a factor.
