We've had and tried various types of gua sha over the years, ranging from stainless steel to crystal stone to wood. there are also various sizes and styles, so when we came across this one, this was unique in shape and styling and feel. The packaging is also exceptional, as it feels and looks like a premium product. It's also very educational as to help remind and teach you where and how to use the gua sha. The gua sha itself is really unique, it also looks and feels great, thanks to its "kaolin" ceramic material, it reminds me of certain pottery that's really smooth with a certain amount of grip. This also means that the gua sha piece is very lightweight, unlike a stainless steel which will feel heavy and perhaps cumbersome to use. The design is also nice and premium, with the raised crease in the centre. The acupuncture point is also a surprising design feature and it works really well, meaning this can really be an all in one tool for when your relaxing or doing your beauty routine, this means that if you want to work out any tension you can address it there and then. This is also very easy to clean and will remain so, as it's Matt and won't show any greasy stains on its surface.
