Must read for Land Use and Transportation Professionals; Policymakers; Environmentalists
Very informative and non intuitive data, especially enjoyed the blurbs linking out to websites for further information. The chapters on land use and making the cohesive connection to transit results due to transit authority and local government mismatched geometry.

Worth your time
Clear writing, clear thinking, 100% insightful concepts and “how-it-works” for the essential service of public transit.A delight to read, especially if you are a self-educated urbanist. Learn from a professional with decades od experience who has taken the time to explain and articulate trade offs such as coverage vs ridership, while making space for you and your values - and those of your community. One of my favourite books I’ve read in the last decade.

A must-read for anyone working in public transit or town planning!
This book really got me thinking about the transit in my city and how it could better serve the needs of the travelling public. Walker cleverly shows how certain choices lead to particular outcomes for our transit networks, and that competing priorities can result in piecemeal solutions that don't work for anyone. His argument on the geometry of our cities and transit is compelling and thus this book is widely relevant across planning, engineering and operations disciplines.

Good knowledge with bias
I think the author has a lot of knowledge but seems has bias on traditional transit bus service. Especially when comes to off peak service, the opinions were contradicted with some other opinions the author pointed out on frequency and coverage. The book is for the perfect early condiction but, it has some good knowledge in my opinion.
