I installed two of these and have never taken them down (although I do remove the players while not on a trip). While holding the players, they work great. Even they they are not made by DBPower, they were recommended by the them when I purchased the players but the fit is like they were made for them. They have a super wide strap that cinches down on the headrest so they are really sturdy.
