I have a Nissan Titan Pick Up. When I bought it used, it had been lifted and had knobby tires on it. The road noise was horrendous. I got a little used to it, but my wife hated to go anywhere in my truck. I ordered this AggSound, 788mil, 6sqft Roll Pack Universal Sound Deadener to try to cover under the back seats and back wall area of my truck. I thought that was where a lot of the noise was coming through. It was so much more difficult to remove my carpet and material behind the seats, than it was to stick this foam in. Once I was able to get it stuck under and behind the seats on the wall, I put it all back together to go for a test drive. I could not believe the difference. Of course, I still hear road noise, but my wife and I can actually hold a decent conversation now without raising our voices. I wish I had done this much longer ago as it sounds so much quieter now.

This is nice quality sound absorption material. I recently installed a subwoofer box in my son's car and was looking for ways to improve sound quality and deaden some vibration areas. I have used other varieties of isolation matting in the past that do a great job, depending on the application. I ordered this to try some different techniques. This AggSound deadener is 3/4" thick, dense and very spongy. It worked perfectly applying between overlapping plastic panels on the trunk exterior. Because of it being spongy it easily filled the recessed cavities and provided a spring effect preventing the extreme vibrations. Also works perfectly behind the license plate as well. The adhesion is very thin though holds fast when applied to a clean surface. All-in-all this sound deadening matting suited my needs in the spaces I used it.

I had a rattle in my car door that I thought was my speaker so I bought a speaker and took apart my door to find that everything was fine. But the noise was still there after putting the door back together. After a closer look found it was the outside of the door touching part of the window rails when the speakers were loud. Bought this and put it between the two and also added it a few other places. The sound is so much more clear now that all of the sound is going into the car not vibrating other things outside of the car.

Here is a really quality closed cell foam from AggSound. It is has all the right characteristics to reduce sound penetration where ever needed. The peal and stick adhesive makes installing simple, and this large piece makes covering big areas easy and quick. Trimming and cutting can be done with any house hold shear or razor knife. Thermal insulation is a secondary feature of closed cell, and would be much better achieved with a foil backed insulation to reflect radiant energy. And with any adhesive insulation, take the time to prepare the surface properly to achieve the best results for your effort. This large piece of sound barrier is reasonably priced, easy to use and useful for any project involving sound control. Give it a try.

Really thick rubbery foam sound deadening mat. The thickness can be a plus and a minus as it doesn't compress easily so it will add some height to the surface you have it mounted to. This isn't something you would want to use in tight spaces like the inside of a door or possible the roof depending on the clearences you have to work with. The dense foam is good at deading sound. I used it on the floor of my 1948 pickup truck and it makes a noticeable difference.

Very nice. It is surprisingly dense foam that comes with an adhesive-backed lining for easy installation. It comes in a large and sturdy box and the foam was rolled up tightly. The measurements are fairly close with a slight difference, presumably within their tolerances. Easy enough to cut to size. I was not able to measure the reduction in noise, but I could tell that the amount was noticeably reduced. The thickness of 3/4 inches could be harder to work with but the effectiveness is most likely better compared to the thinner rolls.
