Full disclosure: I got the 2 in 1 Apple Dongle Headphone Jack and Charger simply to have an adapter for my wired earbuds. My wife and I travel a lot, and my wife has been known to set down her wireless earbuds and forget where they were. Normally we can find them eventually, but it would be more problematic if she set them down while on a plane. The plan, therefore, was to find an adapter for her iPhone 11 that could be used with my old wired earbuds, under the expectation that she would be less likely to lose her earbuds if they stay attached to her phone. There are plenty of RCA adapters available, but the reason we picked this one is because we have an upcoming trip and it was the first on in my data feed.With the context out of the way, the adapter performs fabulously well with wired earbuds. There is no noticeable static or degradation in sound, and the flexible cable connector makes it less likely that the earbuds will be yanked out of her ear if she turns her head quickly. The product is light and robust, and while it is slightly obtrusive, not so much that it's a deal breaker.As I indicated, we got this adapter solely for the RCA-jack, but since it has a charging port, we have that a try as well. While not a game changer, it is sometimes convenient to be able to charge the phone while using the earbuds. However, in most locations where we can plug in the charger, we likely won't be on the plane since most airplanes (at least the ones we fly) don't have power available at the seats. So while it's convenient, it's not a feature we often use. This RCA jack converter is exactly what we need to keep our wired earbuds useful, and it has an additional charging port to use simultaneously, as well, for those that can make use of it. Highly recommended.

This dongle lets me charge my phone at the same time as I connect a 3.5mm headset or microphone - Good when I am doing vlogging or livestreaming so I can get better quality audio, and charge from the power outlet rather than relying on the battery. Works great.

This does exactly what it is meant to. My headphones worked the first time with zero sound degradation and charging works simultaneously.

I really like this little adapter. I got it mostly to use with my IPhone 14 Pro Max and it works beautifully, charging while the phone and works wonderfully with my old wired Bose headphones. The sound was fantastic! I didn’t have to worry about a dead phone. After a while my phone did get a little warm so if you don’t have one I suggest that you look into a phone fan if you’ll be using it a lot.I haven had the opportunity to use it on a voice call yet although that was one of the reasons I picked this product, but after hearing the richness of my music I can’t imagine you would have any problems.I did however with the help of a few small adapters use it to play music from my 11+ years old IPod. The music sounded great there as well.I like that this adapter is so easy to use, just plug and play. It fits in my pocket, even girl jeans!Bottom line is if you’re looking for a super versatile way to combine your old and new tech this gem is it.I highly recommend!

Made for apple?!

This is a very high quality device. It works great with both my daughter's old iPhone 6 that she uses for music and Tom & Jerry on YouTube. She has wired 'phones because she still is young and prone to lose things, so wireless headphones are a few years away. The iPhone 6 only has the one lightning port, so she could either charge or listen to the apple earbuds.Constant charging is required on a 5-y-o phone, so it can be annoying. This lets her charge and listen at the same time and works great! Love this. Great product. Price is higher than a lot of others, but the quality seems to be there to justify it. I recommend.
