BEWARE and then check the battery
I bought one of these in 2013 and it lasted until 2015. The latest one which was used as a spare programmed fine and was then stored as a spare set. I used the spare set yesterday (about a month and a half after delivery) and the remote did not work. I tried to process a return and, of course, could not. There was no link to contact the seller so here I am hoping this review will be noticed.Update: I had a chance to check to see if the battery the problem today. The battery in fact was bad when I replace with a fresh battery I had on hand. I have updated the rating from one star to four stars and the four stars are because of old battery in the new product.

Easy to program! works as described!
I bought two of these (one for my wife and one for me) for our 2003 Ford Expedition.PROS -The package included very easy to understand and follow instructions.I had both of these programmed in about a minute.CONS -The range on these are not equivalent to Manufacturer spec at all. I remember being able to use the Manufacturer supplied remotes from quite a distance away. With these, you almost have to be touching the truck to get them to work and then sometimes you have to hold it in different positions and keep clicking until it finally works. It is not always that hard but the range is always very short.Bottom line - If you only want this for ease of use and have no need to be able to use it in a very big and crowded parking lot to "remember" where you parked, then I would definitely recommend them because they get the job done and are easy to program yourself!

Quality
We bought two fobs. In general they are good quality and do the job they are suppose to. Easy enough to program to your rig. But buyer beware. We programmed these to my 2006 Expedition Limited....the next morning it would not start. Had power (headlights, radio, power seats all came on) but would not turn over. Thankfully my rig is still under dealer warranty because I had to have a wrecker haul it to town. Anyway...long story short....When we programmed the fobs the car went into "Valet" mode and would not turn over unless you closed the door and cycled the locks. Our local Ford dealership spent 4 hours on the phone with Ford to get it reset. On the up side....they found an oil leak that will be fixed under warranty so it was a blessing in disguise.

Anyone can press these buttons!
Excellent product! We had just purchased a 2005 Ford Expedition and it only came with one key and no remote, we saw this one and ordered it just to see if it would work. It arrived earlier than we expected and my wife was able to set it up very easily! It works great! the trunk button opens the back glass; click the lock button once and it locks all the doors and the lights flash, press it twice and the horn will honk as well; press the unlock button once and the drivers door unlocks, twice and all the doors unlock as well! The panic button also works well! I was surprised by how well everything works and how far away the remote will work! I would definantely order the same thing if I ever need a replacement and would recommend it to anyone needed a replacement remote!

2003 Ford Expd EB Door Opener Remote
Delivery was fast. Product did not work. I also had a independent auto repair shop give it a try see if their skill set was better than mine but no luck. Programming instructions were easy to read. Instructions in Ford Owners Manual easy to follow, just didn't work. I'll give Amazon 5 Stars for handling return and credit. Looks like I'm headed to the Ford Dealer, they want $60. The original clicker started failing on the unlock button taking 6 -10 clicks to unlock, changing batteries didn't fix the problem. Locking button working fine but it only gets half as many clicks so probably a wear & tear issue on the unlock side.

Item sent is not what is pictured.
I ordered 2 of the 4-buttoned fobs for my Expedition. The fobs I received were 3-buttoned (missing the rear window release button). Additionally, the DIY instructions were not included (though those are in the vehicle manual, fyi).

Disappointed but don't know all factors involved
I replaced my fob because the original one would rarely work with the unlocking function and I had to be right at the car. Unfortunately, this one is acting very similarly to the one that was 12 years old. Perhaps there is an issue with the receiver on the car, but I'm a bit disappointed that this will often not work for unlocking when I'm standing at the tailgate. I have to walk toward the front of the vehicle. As I stated, I can't necessarily blame this device, but I'm very disappointed that it was not a better solution.

Definitely a 5 star product
I received this in just 2 days. It took me about 2 minutes to program and it works perfectly. I only had one key for my 2009 Ford Expedition and the buttons on it were just silly small for me. I had to press the corner of my thumb real far in to use it. This looked much better and it is. The buttons are big and easy to use. I bought a chipped key at Home Depot for seventy dollars and this for 10. So still pretty cheap for a spare, but I like this better than the actual key because the buttons are easy to push. I will leave the real key at home as a spare.
