Terribly Agonizing Acting.
I was actually happy to be rid of each character as they were bitten. Every single one of them. I only sat through the entire film because I paid $ 6.99 for the HD version. The acting was so forced, hesitant, and unnatural. It was painful to watch. Like I said I was actually relieved as each one turned into zombies. The main guy and his girlfriend gritted their humongous teeth in effort to appear pained more than I care to remember. It was all I could do NOT to comment aloud regarding their absolute stupidity at times.*Not picking up the gun after killing an abusive man*Not relaying the information the main male character learned after calling 911*Basically ignoring the fact that the house he enters at first is covered in blood and guts, but he doesn't check each room and sends his companions running into said house for safety. Then leaves screeching, scared women alone in the blood spattered house while he runs through a field stopping to contemplate life*The weird/cheesy effect that was used twice to relay confusion or whatnot on the main male character*The exhaustive amount of time characters would stand appearing confused while flesh eating murderers caught up*The unexplained fact that some zombies were freakishly fast while others were the typical drag your feet and walk like you're a drunk 100 year old.*The fact that in the beginning of the film one of the characters made a point to mention that he hadn't seen another car or person for the past few hours they were driving, but the farmhouse had hordes of fast and furious zombies....they called them "The Passed" like it might become a popular identify choice term like Walkers or Roamers.*Why was the actor who played the rigidly weird ear bud wearing brother dirty? From the beginning, even before any sign of trouble came up there were scenes where this dude had weird charcoal looking soot on his face and neck. And his clothing was soiled in many scenes. At first I was trying to figure out if the discoloration on his face and neck at times was a weird attempt at makeup to cover oddly growing hair but it was dirt. Like they filmed later scenes first and didn't replace, clean, or notice the dirt on this really annoying, anally retentive weirdo.I could point out more plot inconsistencies and major character flaws but I'm sure you get it by now. The movie stunk and was actually annoying. I mean who writes this crap, and says "hey this is good stuff" Pass this one up. The preview makes it look way better than it truly is.

Unofficial retread of NOTLD
That's how I saw 3 Hours Til Dead: the survivors finding the barn, the psycho older guy, the focus on gas, the nod to slow zombies, etc. The problem with 3 Hours is the characters are not well-drawn or likable and their actions are beyond the pale of what I would normally excuse. The leads are also bad actors (or badly directed, I can't tell). So the story is a bunch of people trying to survive at the beginning of a zombie apocalypse. As a whole, it kept my interest at the same time I was saying to myself, "kick him in the nuts' or 'drive over the zombies' or 'really? you're parking that far away?' The zombie bites/kills are well-done and, for the most part, the zombie scenes are also nicely done (directed?). Sometimes you can forgive lapses if the movie is good enough or if the creative team's heart is in the right place. In the case of 3 Hours, I'd say the latter...but I'll remember it fondly.

Good, straightforward zombie flick. I recommend it!
Good, straightforward zombie flick. I recommend seeing it. It captures both the old school slow movers and the new school high speed zombies. There is just enough time spent building up the main characters so that you react when someone dies (it is a zombie movie - people die), but not so much that it bores you. There was a good balance of plot and story telling with the action sequences. It was well directed and well acted. I found the movie exciting with an old school charm. The score got a little annoying for me at times, though. There seemed to be a constant base hum in the lower channels. I thought it was my earbuds at first, so I switched to a higher quality full size noise eliminating headset and it was actually more noticeable. I have bad hearing in the upper registry and part of the middle, so I tend to notice the lower registry more than some. You might not notice it at all.

Not many zombie movies have I found myself rooting for the zombies. Every character was just screaming zombie fodder
Not many zombie movies have I found myself rooting for the zombies so strongly. The video production was good quality, plot was the standard trapped in a house during a zombie epidemic breakout. The characters unfortunately were all of the "clueless zombie fodder" type who couldn't their act together and survive. Those are the type of characters everyone is anxiously waiting to get killed, which unfortunately was everyone in this group. The ladies screamed only slightly more than the men, the men were complete idiots who pretty much watched as each other got eaten alive frozen in cowardly fear and didnt even lift a finger to help, and even with people getting bitten then coming back to life they couldn't piece together the situation. A better writer would have made this a decent production

I liked this movie
I liked this movie,it's much better than most zombie movies. Is it perfect? No. (The usual - kill someone and leave weapon next to "dead".) But it did have a bit of a plot, unlike most zombie movies. And, I liked the mini-movie shown after the movie ended; a rather innovative idea. Taking into account that I was around when the original Night of the Living Dead first came out (HATED the remake) and numerous other zombie movies that come nowhere close to the original, it is always pleasant when I find one that I actually like.

Good enough and better than most...
Makeup was pretty good! I like it when indie zombie movies at least try! LOL Interesting that there were slow zombies and fast ones in this one. Some of the scenes could have been more "Real" though, as in the "standing around to say their lines" before doing something... Who would do that? Should be running and yelling and running! LOL I can't understand how anyone thinks the world will go on after the zombie apocalypse if there are so many stupid girls in it, though... LOL

Not Bad For A "D" Movie
Not bad at all for a D movie. Without a spoiler, all I will say is that The females in the movie did some of the dumbest things i have ever seen! But it was a pretty decent low budget zombie flick. I honestly didnt think it would hold my interest past the first 10 or 15 minutes but it did.
