Great reference book!
Book was purchased as a gift for an avid quilter. And is a fascinating read and a visual treat regarding fabric patterns from long ago.

If you have an interest in chintz and/or early fabrics, this is the must have book in your collection. Fabulous photos, good detail of where each fabric came from. A book to drool over, but don't as it is so very expensive. (I wish they had bought out a cheaper paperback edition). The only downside is that is a big heavy book. I would like to have read it in bed but it is too heavy.....
