I used this connector system for a few years at a custom cabinet shop. This vender offers a similar quality product to what I used to use. That's convenient since I don't want to purchase a large quantity of connectors a cabinet manufacturer buys. So I'm very happy for this vender of small quantities of connectors.I only miss having the option to have different depths of threaded sleeves.

Sleeves and screws are manufactured well and seem solid. I can update after real time use.

These are what i was expecting. The hole you inset this into is small enough for the body to fit, but the head end, which has ridges, is larger than the hole. By forcing it into the wood, the ridges grab the wood and prevent the unit from turning. This gives you your solid anchor point for assembly.I took this one step further and used it with plastic channel to make a trellis with. Same basic procedure except you soften the plastic with a heat gun so that the head of the unit sinks into the plastic. Once cooled, it has the same rigidity that it would have going into wood. You just have to be careful not to overtighten or you could strip it out of the plastic.Worked well on the trellis assembly.I am happy with the product for the intended wood use and for the expanded use with the plastic wood.
