Love it!! Crispy rice every time!
Crisps up my rice perfectly, just how I like it. It's very sturdy and durable and it looks great, too! The only curious thing is that it says [no trivet], but it definitely came with a plastic trivet. No complaints! I love using this. It even works on my electric stovetop! All I do is use about 1 tbsp of sesame oil and wipe it around the bowl, and then fill it with cooked rice.

Came for the Bibimbap, Stayed for the Stews
Bibimbap is one of my favorite dishes in the world, and the staple of it is that crispy crunchy rice that you really only get with a dol sot. After much searching and reading of reviews, this one was the clear winner! The quality and durability is excellent. I’ve used it about 12 times since purchasing for various recipes. The ease of just cooking right on the stove top makes life a little easier for my clumsy self (less burns, yay!). There was a small learning curve with how hot my specific stove heated the dol sot, so definitely keep an eye on what time works best with your stove’s low heat. An extra selling point was the packaging, which was mostly recyclable! Definitely a great buy!

Great rice cooker
Good product. The bowl and lid have a dark brown color while the trivet is black. The contrast is a little off-putting but I hardly use the trivet, if at all. Worth it for the price; I'd go for the trivet-less option.

Der Topf ist optisch sehr ansprechend und erfüllt seinen Zweck. Man sollte natürlich darauf achten, dass man ihn nie im leeren Zustand erhitzt. Oder im erhitzen Zustand plötzlich abkühlt. Und es ist sehr wichtig, vernünftige Topflappen oder Handschuhe zu nutzen. Ich sage das, weil ich genau deswegen den Topf habe fallenlassen. Ein einfaches Küchenhandtuch hat irgendwann eben nicht ausgereicht. Beim nächsten Dolsot werde ich persönlich auf bessere Griffmöglichkeiten achten. Wer damit kein Problem hat, wird in diesem Dolsot mit Deckel einen wunderbaren Küchenbegleiter finden.

Love this! I add some water and heat it over a low flame, it gets hot quickly. Then handling it using an oven mitt, empty out the water, and usually put steamed vegetables or rice in it, to keep the food warm for a long time so I can eat slowly and really savour the taste. The lid is great as well! Everybody comments on how cute it looks. I can't wait to try making bibimbap in it!

Really pleased with the bowl. Liked it very much, ended up purchasing a second bowl. Recommend this bowl, very versatile. Very well made. Shame Amazon UK don't stock sizzler and other large stone bowls from " Crazy Korean Cooking " Amazon UK please restock the other " Premium Stone products "
