I bought this because our toilet was blocked and the problem seemed to be further down the line. It came well packaged to our doorstep.The package includes the Spring itself, a drill attachment and a little "key" to take the drill bit off the spring. It attached easily and the link between my drill and the spring felt solid. I was able to operate the spring with a cheap corded drill just fine, with no issues powering the spring along the entire length.I had our toilet unblocked in a matter of 20 minutes at a fraction of what a plumber would have cost me and I can reuse it anytime I may have a need for it.

This is a must have for unblocking drains within the home, worked like a treat, easy to use and did a fantasic job :)

Had it for blocked drainage and the thickness and length was great for the job, quality material, helped with the blockage, flexibility it's good but when u spin fast and long time sometimes it gets stucks and the whole item spins other side so you have to do it slowly, but it's good value for money.

We kept repeatedly getting a blocked drain and no amount of caustic soda, rodding or plunging would shift it. Access to the blockage was difficult. But this tool snaked it's way in, with me feeding it and my wife operating the cordless drill. It broke through the build up of gunge and dislodged two rocks that were causing the blockage.The build quality is great, and it is big and robust enough to clear blockages in underground household sewers. Just the right length for my job. Any longer and it would be unwieldy.Buy the best quality, thick long gauntlets to go with it. I had to put my hand deep into a 30 cm wide dirty drain hole to access the outlet off to the side at the bottom that was blocked, not something you want to do without protection. Also, the spinning spring isn't something you want to hold in your bare hands.I constantly flushed clean water into the drain while cleaning it and my wife monitored progress by the fatty lumps, soil, and - finally - rocks that appeared. It is a two person operation to use this.Excellent product and worth every penny.

I found this product to be of poor quality. No instructions. The whole length has no protection at all so can mark the ceramic surface. It's also slightly greasy which might be expected - but without any instructions the user finds these details out as they go along. I wouldn't recommend this item

Usually I rely on reviews of a product, but there weren't any for this one. Rather than spring for the 200 quid for a drain cleaner to come out, I thought that I would try this thing. Works very well. Wasn't difficult to control using a drill either.However, it was not long enough. Still need to call the bloody drain guy out.

Had a blocked pipe and tried those silly chemical unblockers which didn't work. This however went into the pipe found the blockage then hooked it up to my cordless drill and within about 3 mins it broke through the obstruction.Brilliant bit of kit.

This is brilliant, we have an awkward drain that is difficult to access leave alone clear. This auger with a slow speed drill did it in 10 mins.
