Why did you pick this product vs others?:These are great! They fit tight and secure in the window and they are super easy to use. These will make great child safety locks for sliding patio doors and windows for those testy roaming kiddos. I use mine for extra safety for my windows and patio door. I say get some and keep the key in a need-to-know place and don't lose them in case you have to get out. I'm definitely purchasing more for my upper windows, you just don't know these days. Thank you!

I just got a new window Ac. While u screw it into the window I was afraid it may break away and the window would open and the AC would fall out of the 2nd Fl. The screws are tiny due to the thin frame. These locks are great. Even if the screws fail the window won’t open and it will stay on the sill. Well worth the money for peace of mind.

I live on the top floor, and my kids kept opening the sliding window, which made me really anxious. I bought this window lock purely for safety, and it’s been a lifesaver! It was super easy to install and fits snugly on the window track.Since putting it in, the kids haven’t been able to open the window at all. Easy install, does what it needs to. Would be nice if the set screws had a rubber pad, comes with a rubber or vinyl piece to act as a protector for window but it is not attached and easy yo loose, also does not fit if your window rails are to wide and the lock "just barely" fits. Be sure to measure your window rails (i didnt) i was able to bend the lock just a bit to make usable but would jave been much better if I had measured first.

I ordered these window locks in an effort to delay my autistic son during his elopement episodes. I've tried a few other brands in the past that didn't secure properly and some that tore up the window ledge. This brands is built very sturdy and properly fit securely. The included tool makes instalation and removal very easy.

These are BY FAR the best window locks i have tried!! Super simple and fit just about everything i have used them on!! Pick These over the silver screw kind and save your self the time.. These trump the rest!!

These work amazing!! Set them up in less than 5 minutes each and they have stayed for well over a month now. They include two things to tighten with one of them fits in small spaces so you can get in the tight areas well. All in all 10/10

It didn't fit with wanting to use it for a mirrored slider closet door to lock. Unsuccessful I tried. On to the next.
