Premier Seeds Direct 2 g Mimosa Pudica Sensitive Plant

The media could not be loaded.  I was a bit dubious about buying seeds online as you never know what you’re getting. I soaked these seeds in water overnight and planted them the next day. I had shoots pop up in about a week and they’ve shot up since then- see video! I didn’t realise the plants would be able to open and close so early on. Most of the seeds germinated so these are good value for money and fun to watch grow. Recommended :)

My seeds started growing within a week! They look healthy and I love to see their growth each day! Super good value for the price! Would definitely recommend!

Got them for my dad, so not sure about them but he never complained..so that's a good sign 😁

It is early days. The seeds arrived as advised. Planted about 1/3 of them. They germinated (inside in my sun room) in about four to five days. They're still small so I can't comment much on how they will be further up the line. All seem happy and healthy 😊

Soaked in water for 30 mins, covered lightly in damp soil and cling filmed - about a week later after being on a sunny window sill (March) I had sprouts, of the 6 I planted 4 sprouted, another one has just appeared. The initial leaves do not react but later growth does. They also close up at night.

Everything exactly as it should be! Germinated in a takeaway container on moist kitchen towel and had growth within 24 hrs. All seeds germinate at different rates so a great ongoing project for young children! I’ve had to learn from experience as online advice didn’t work for me! I’m on my second pack of seeds now! TIPS. Wait until the seed removes itself, it’s tempting to remove the seed shell when it’s hanging off but don’t as the leaves haven’t formed properly and it won’t survive planting. Once planted, leave the pot in water! Don’t try to figure out a water routine just leave them. They need lots of indirect sunlight and then sit back and watch ! Really enjoy growing these ! And my young nephew is loving having a project of his own too. Thanks!
