Perfect for remote work
Easy to set up. Perfect laptop for remote work especially for the price. I have had no problems with the speed. I do not hear the fan & the battery life is sufficient although it will not last an entire workday.

Keys are breaking in half, just out of warranty period
I purchased this laptop on the recommendation of a computer repair shop. I explained that I needed a computer that would last under heavy use (and I don't mean abuse, I mean just being used a lot), and this is just not it. The keyboard started giving me issues about six months after I purchased it. The left shift key would work only intermittently and got stuck a lot. Just two weeks out of warranty, the CTRL key broke completely in half, and Dell would not give me any consideration to fix the problem. When you pay this much for a laptop, you expect it to last for longer than 1 years and two weeks. The CTRL button, I have found, is extremely important, and now I am going into my busy season (photographer here) with a laptop that is limping along. It's going to cost almost $500 to get it repaired. Extremely disappointed. It also has an issue (maybe with the video card) where the screen goes white and I have to wait several seconds for it to resolve itself. I won't be buying another Dell ever.

Doesn't feel safe to keep plugged in
Overheats while charging. Otherwise haven't had any major issues but it gets concerningly hot to the touch right out of the box new.
