Sturdy
My basement is rather moist, so warping was a concern for me, but the aluminum solved that easily. It's light and sturdy and I love that I can adjust the width. My only complaint is the size of the clamps, my work tables are homemade meant for ceramics and woodworking, so they're thick and my kitchen table has an apron that won't allow them to slide in far enough, so i had to make a special make-shift table and am still maxing them out. Your table must be no thicker than 1 1/2"

Disappointed
The pieces that I did receive seem to be good quality. However, most of the hardware is missing so it can't be put together. It does have instructions but that could definitely be more clear and instructional. There are also metal shavings all over it so I definitely recommend opening outside. There wasn't a way to contact the seller but if the problems do get resolved (which I prefer rather than going through the hassle of returning and ordering another one), I will update my review.

Basic beginner's tufting frame
This frame is very much entry level. The quality of the materials are what I'd call light to mid grade, the manufacture is a bit rough (some of the pieces still had metal burrs where the pieces were machined and needed to be ground down), and the instructions are plagued with clumsy English. However, it does have all the parts you need to begin tufting larger pieces (2' x 2' or so) instead of using a hand held frame. It went together relatively quickly, is somewhat adjustable for various sizes, and has an integral tension loop. It's certainly good enough to help new tufters decide if the craft is for them, but it's not going to be a life-long bit of equipment.
