Fantastic price for a huge lot
Story time. Again.I have over 100 houseplants. In the spring, I bring them outside and put them on my deck under the gazebo and they flourish. They stay outside until mid September when the nighttime temps start dropping into the 50's.I am always checking plants for pests, inspecting roots to make sure I don't have root rot and always making changes to the plants if I don't think they are living their best life. Some people are crazy cat ladies, I'm a crazy plant lady but I'm ok with that.My new obsession is using moss poles on plants as well as clear pots so I can inspect the soil & roots.I like to put my plants in clear pots and insert them into decorate planters. It works out perfectly. If I decide not to put them in decorative planters, I can just display my plants in the clear pots. This is the 3rd set of clear pots I've ordered and I have to say, the value is off the charts.I've been doing research for the past few months trying to find the best bang for my buck. Clear nursery pots are not cheap by any sense of the imagination. If I found a set that came in the sizes I liked, they were too expensive. The more affordable clear pots didn't come in sizes I needed. When this set came across my Amazon Vine feed, I didn't even need to think about it, I ordered it right away.I didn't want anything fancy. I just wanted clear nursery pots. No bells, no whistles and no trays. Just clear nursery pots. This set is perfect.Let me just tell you, the plastic is not super thick. They are the traditional nursery pots you would get from a garden center just clear. The fact that they are thin will come in handy when I have to repot my plants that have become root bound. I can squeeze the pot to loosen up the plants roots to make it easier for the plant to slip out without damaging the root system. The pots are perfectly clear so there is no coloring to give the pot that milky color to it.Each pot has ample drainage holes so you don't run the risk of water keeping the bottom soaking wet which will lead to root rot.I received 20 pots for under $19.Do your research. See how expensive clear pots are. They aren't cheap. The fact that I received 20 pots for a fantastic price is unheard of. The fact that I received 20 pots at a fantastic price and the pots don't crack & break easily is even better.20 pots in sizes I'll actually use = a happy camper.I received:5 pots in size 3.5"5 pots in 4"5 pots in 5"5 pots in 6.8"The 6.8" pots are taller than traditional pots this size which I couldn't be more thrilled about. I'm always looking for pots that are a little deeper.I am thrilled with these pots and highly recommend them.

great price for a large amount of pots
Like other reviewers, I am really pleased with these pots. When I received them, I got so many that I realized I clearly did not read the description fully. The great thing is that with this many pots, I can start taking cuttings from plants I have to give them to friends who comment on liking what every flowers I give them.I'm not an expert gardener by any means, I am just learning as I go. The great thing about these pots is that they are see through so I can tell when the plants need watering and/or to be repotted. This is extremely helpful for a newer gardener. The pots are somewhat flimsy the smaller they are, but this has the benefit of making removing the plant from the pot that much easier. With the nursery pots you get in big name stores or nurseries, it's a bit more difficult to remove the plant because you can't squeeze them out of the pot as easily as you can with these. And these don't crack when you do squeeze them to help the plant out of the pot.The larger the pots get, the more drainage holes as well. The smallest size has three holes though so you get ample drainage in all size pots. And if you want to "fancy" them up, you can always add funny stickers which I plan to do for the cuttings I give my friends. With the cost of these pots being so low, I won't have to be stingy on giving cuttings away either.

Better than nursery pots
I like to keep a 'nursery pot' inside my nice ceramic pots so it is easier to change pots, makes it easy to bottom water if I feel like dealing with bottom watering 200+ plants. So I was looking for a pack of nursery style pots to repot my plants. These are great, a tiny bit thicker and sturdier than nursery pots from your plant store. I squeezed them a bit to see if they would crack and break. The bottoms will pop and spring back to shape, the upper lip bent and got a crease but didn't break.I got the 3.5, 4, 5, 6.8 variety pack. The 5 inch are spot on 5 inches the others are just inside the measurement by a tiny bit, which is great for my intended use as they should fit inside most pots and not stick up beyond the lip. I tried a few of my pots and with a few oddly shaped exceptions they sat inside with just the very top of the lip anive the pot, which helps grab it and remove from the pot. Very pleased.ProsSturdier than expectedSee roots to inspect health of the plantGood size varietyConsI'll update if I find any

Crystal clear but thin.
This is a decent set of clear plastic nursery pots with a great assortment of sizes. The plastic is thin and feels a bit flimsy to me. They are definitely not as sturdy as other clear pots that I have used, but they are crystal clear so I can see exactly what is going on with the plant's root system and moisture levels, which is what I wanted. I was pleased to discover that the 3-1/2in pots fit my 4in cover pots perfectly! The number of drainage holes depends on the size of the pot. The smallest pots only have THREE holes. The next two sizes up have four, and as you can see by my picture, the largest size has a lot more. I was a bit disappointed in that, but water flows freely as long as the mix is aerated. I would say this is a pretty good value for the number of pots you get, especially in these sizes.

Great for rooting new plants
I got these for because I am new to rooting plants and I wanted to be able to see the root growth. I had never seen clear pots before, and I don’t know why, because this is such a great idea! These are excellent for my needs. These are very easily smashed, but they do not break. To get an idea of how thin they are, the smallest one is similar to a cheap plastic cup except that, of course, it has drainage holes in the bottom. As thin as they are, I considered deducting a star, but because the price is excellent for this number of pots, I didn’t think it was warranted. The 4 sizes are absolutely perfect for rooting different size plants. These are a must have item for anybody that is rooting plants, whether they are brand new to it, like myself, or have been doing it for ages.
