Bought this as a Christmas present. They loved it. Model looks great when it was finished. Would buy again.

I picked up this motorcycle model building block kit because I’m a fan of both motorbikes and construction kits. The idea of assembling a mini replica of a Superduke 1290R was too good to pass up. As someone who enjoys working on models, this seemed like the perfect mix of my hobbies. First off, the packaging was nice and sturdy, and the instructions were easy to follow. The pieces were all individually bagged, which made organising and finding what I needed during the build a lot easier. However, some of the pieces are really small, so you do need to pay attention to avoid losing any. A bit of patience is required here! The level of detail is impressive for a 579-piece set. From the suspension to the handlebars, everything looks pretty accurate. It has some moving parts too, like the steering and the wheels, which adds a bit of fun once it’s completed. The scale, being 1:8, gives it a decent size, making it a great display piece once it’s finished. That said, there are a few minor issues. Some parts didn’t click together as tightly as I expected, which led to a bit of adjusting to get everything to fit properly. I wouldn’t say it takes away from the overall experience, but it could be frustrating if you’re not used to building models. The tyres are also a bit hard to get on, but with a bit of persistence, it works out. I’d recommend this kit to any motorcycle fan or someone looking for a more advanced building project. It’s definitely more suited for older kids or adults, as it can be tricky in places. Once built, it’s quite a satisfying model to have on display, and it’s fun to see the effort you put in come together. All in all, a solid kit with only a few minor challenges.

I was excited to build this model and everything looked fine however towards the end of stage one critical parts were missing, I am very disappointed as this was to be a birthday present for my grandson. It is a shame maybe I should stick to Lego next time

Really beautiful and detailed model kit. Lovely attention to detail and complex enough to challenge older kids with some adult support. Looks great when complete, Really well packaged & presented and would make an excellent gift for a model / bike fan.
