I was particularly drawn to it because of its promise to hydrate without being greasy, and I can confidently say it delivers. The texture is smooth and absorbs quickly into the skin, leaving no sticky residue behind, which is ideal for anyone with acne-prone skin who doesn’t want to feel weighed down by heavy creams. It provides an instant cooling sensation, helping to calm irritation or redness, which is especially useful after applying acne treatments or cleansers. I’ve noticed that the hydrator does a good job of balancing the skin’s moisture levels. It keeps my skin feeling refreshed and soft without clogging pores or causing breakouts. This is a review of 'Proactiv Solution Anti-Imperfection Hydrator, 90 ml (Pack of 1)'. This is a moisturiser/hydrator with salicylic acid. The product has a distinct medicinal smell that I can't quite place. It also has a menthol like cooling sensation despite not containing any menthol that I can see in the ingredients list. The product contains lightly hydrating ingredients but doesn't have any of the heavy duty moisturiser ingredients I normally go for like ceramides, glycerin, etc. I find this provides light hydration but might not be enough for my dry skin for me to use it on its own. It has a light texture and sinks in very quickly with a matte finish. I would opt to follow this with an spf because it contains salicylic acid which can make the skin more sensitive to the sun. My slight criticism of the product would be that it contains fragrance which can be quite irritating to some people' skin. Overall I think this is a decent light moisturiser and I would use it again to treat mild breakouts.

This hydrator is good for blemish prone skin. It cleanses and provides exfoliation whilst nourishing the skin. Skin feels nice and hydrated after use. It’s best used in conjunction with other proactiv products (see the sets) and should be used with caution given the salicylic acid content but otherwise its great!

Sadly, I had to discontinue using the products from this brand as I found them too strong and harsh for my very sensitive skin. Disappointed.

This is a non-greasy lotion containing salicylic acid, so be sure to test it before using it on your face. My skin is quite sensitive so I have just used it twice a week. It goes on smoothly and is quickly absorbed, and feels quite moisturising. Salicylic acid can make your skin more sensitive to the sun, so do use sun cream too, even in winter. So many spot creams are very drying, but this really isn't, and skin feels moisturised.

Helps keep skin looking fresh and blemish free also exfoliates but more importantly in this cold weather it moisturises your skin. Bit pricey but should last a while. Definitely recommend
