Solid and versatile
I use this to pull apart old Mopar engines and cars. If a bolt is astronomically stuck, it will not remove it. That is the job for a large breaker bar with a pipe hooked to it or I warm it with a torch first and hit with some spray then the kaw impact. Now for any normal nut or bolt, its off in a flash.I would bet this is not as strong as a high end air impact but it is way more fun because it is quiet and very portable (just an extension cord reaches me 150 feet from my shop). I must also say that it is longer than an air impact so fit in tight spot where rear space is key, obviously wont work.Long story short, it is made solid, quiet, portable and works on lugnuts, frame bolts, engine head bolts and obviously smaller bolts.

Great electric tool when you don't have any air.
I love this thing, it has great torque for what I use it for. I have had to use a air impact instead on a few things, but that's to be expected there is no way these electrics can compare to air for real torque. BUT not having to start up my air compressor is awesome! I work out of my truck so I have a AC converter that I use and now on most jobs I don't even have to start it for hanging gates, which is the main reason I got this thing. But of course I use it for other actual car and bike work, and it works great so far.I have noticed that there is a grinding coming from it, but so far it has not effected/affected?? the tool. Still works. This does not get used everyday, just maybe 1 time a week. So for a mechanic I'd say stick to air, but for the hobby guy, get it.

Good and cheap
Nice impact wrench. good amount of torque for most home applications. took the lugs off of my Ram 1500 and kia optima with no problem. It is much bigger than an air impact so wont be good in tight spaces without some extensions. Came with 4 sockets. Also came with its own case, but it was cracked. it still functions. The forward/reverse button is one big toggle button. This is my first impact wrench. i would have liked a cordless drill button setup. with one button, and a switch you push through either side to change direction. Have only used a couple of times. Seems solidy built. hopefully it lasts awhile

Great investment for a home owner!
This thing works great! I bought it initially to help in the removal of the blades from my riding mower. The nuts would seize up on the spindles and I couldn't break them loose with a 1/2 inch ratchet with a 16 inch cheater bar. I would actually slide the entire mower across the garage floor trying to get these things off. I decided it was either get an impact driver or roll the mower into the ditch and torch it! I opted for the impact driver! It arrived in two days. I jacked up the mower and had the blades removed in about thirty seconds! I've since used it to rotate the tires on my three vehicles and it performs flawlessly!

Very weak power, keep your breaker bar for EVERY lugnut. Want a refund.
Very rarely do I give anything 1 star, but this impact gun was a big let down.First off, I looked all over the Freight store site and Amazon for a sub-$100 electric guns and after days of thinking about it and reading reviews I landed on this, since it seemed the power was as described for most people. Short review: It's weak, and basically useless, I've thrown away $70.I have a Saab, which means I have lug bolts (male) that come off, (opposite of nuts from bolts.) However that should have nothing to do with it, you take them out just like regular lug nuts, same tightness etc. With this impact it didn't even get CLOSE to removing a tightened nut, even with me manually doing a quarter turn with a breaker bar it could not, it took me doing a half or full turn on a regular wrench for each lug until this device would do anything. If you have to use a break bar on each lug and this still doesn't take them off, it's completely useless. Did I save a few turns of a wrench after I'd already loosened it? Yes, but hardly worth lugging this around the car with it's heavy weight. Also, not nearly effective enough to re-tighten lugs unless you want the wheels to fall off. For some perspective, 250 lb torque is around the amount you need to tighten an axle nut, which is much tighter than lugnuts, so if this is truly 225 lbs of power it should have no problem with lugnuts. Also the case it comes in is very poorly made.I want my money back, seriously.

Didn't quite meet expectations.
Could not handle the lug nuts on my pickup when I went to swap them out. Nice construction and everything but all it did was spin when I tried to get them off. Returned.Edited to rate it slightly higher. It turned out the lug nuts I tried to remove were rusted on to the lugs and I had to take it to a mechanic to have them removed. He wrestled with them for around half an hour before he could break them free so it wasn't all a reflection on the tool. Since it couldn't handle it, I don't regret getting my money back because that was the main reason I originally purchased it and the mechanic only charged me $5 to swap out the lug nuts so I came out ahead financially in the end.
