Bass Scale Wall Chart Review: Very useful tool for learning the notes on the neck, plus more... - This is a great chart to have on my wall. I am a novice bass player trying to 'learn the neck' and this definitely helps. Some people have left feedback about the coloring of the notes on the neck (Too light to easily see) but I have no problem with that. (I am color blind and that usually is a big negative for me, but the contrast was good.) A Bonus is having the various scales also on the chart. Great job, great product. probably be on my music room wall for years. In case you wondered, the neck on this poster is life sized, so it is super easy to compare where you are playing... Review: Great quick reference! - This great as my son and I are learning bass. You do have to have a little knowledge, but to be able to use this chart as a reference was great! I purchased a 24"x36" poster frame from a local craft store to display this chart. Very happy with the quality of information included on the chart. I reccomend this poster for those learning the bass or anyone who needs a quick reference.

Great for information, stated size is incorrect
It is a great learning tool for anyone wishing to memorize scales and note placement for the fret board. the only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is the stated size of the poster is incorrect. Maybe I was wrong to purchase a frame before making absolutely sure the size was what the seller says, and it wasn't too expensive but having to return the frame to get the correct size is a little inconvenient if not frustrating. The correct size is 24x35, for any future buyer looking to frame rather than poke holes into this otherwise excellent poster.

Good
Shows nice and straightforward way to find the notes on my bass. I'm beginner in the the instrument and so I believe that the poster really helps me to know what I should do.

Great but Needs Laminate
This is a great chart. I had mine laminated before I hung it up because it's just a large piece of paper. For the price I didn't want to waist my money with it tearing.

Very large poster
I ordered this and the banjo about the same time. The banjo one arrived first. Than this one. The banjo has the neck of the banjo arranged horizontally. The bass is shown in a vertical manner. Harder to reference vertically. Would be better if pictured horizontal. Other than that. A true music school size poster. Easy to read from a distance.

At first it didn't make sense. It just gives you the first scale position for a note. That position is locked to fret and cannot be used across notes. For example the finger positions for G cannot be used for A in the same scale. For A there is a different set of positions even in the same scale. This won't teach you scales. So basically you need this only when jamming. In a jam you can look up the note and the scale quickly. Later you can stretch the formula to other notes. Note - my review makes no sense. Please buy it try it. It becomes an addiction after a while.

You need scales if you want to learn songs!

The Bass Scales wall chart is big, bold and beautiful.......nothing mysterious about it - all the scales laid out simply and clearly. It`s brilliant - I stuck mine in a frame and it`s on the wall of my practise room right now.......and, yes, I`ve referred to it already...
