Excellent coverage. A little goes a long way.

I matched my color in a store and ordered from Amazon owing to the store’s continued lack of supply. I’m a long time Bare Minerals user, and can never fault the quality. This applies smoothly, covers nicely and blends well

The bottle that I received was expired in July 2025.

I need to preface this by saying I’m not a professional makeup artist. I’m HORRIBLE at matching my own skin tone/undertones. It’s even harder to select foundations online. So I took a chance with ‘Light 21 Cool’ and it’s a perfect match for my face. Two of the arm swatch photos I used flash and one I didn’t use flash. It felt really nice on my face too. It’s not cakey at all, it didn’t cling to dry patches and it blends out nicely. I occasionally like a thicker foundation, but most of the time I like a thinner one. This is that perfect in between of not too thick, not too thin and gives you decent coverage. It is on the pricey side, but I do think it’s a foundation that’s worth the price. It’s one of the first bareMinerals foundations I’ve tried and I’m very happy with it! I would recommend.

It goes on smooth and intially looks nice. A few hours later—- it sinks in all of your pores.

Bare Minerals has me sold from the start with their color system. It’s easy to remember and easy to navigate - Bare Minerals Matte Liquid Foundation - Light 21 Cool. The basic categories are deep, medium, light, fair. The sub-categories are warm, cool, neutral. And then there’s a number. My skin color changes a heck of a lot between seasons but I stay on the cool spectrum. This system lets me easily follow my tan. I find it helpful for spot coverage, around my eyes in wintertime, and to even out my skin tones mid-face. A tiny drop will do it for me. I guessed on my current color and came impressively close using their chart.

Good Coverage, color matched perfectly but later in the day the foundation settled in the fine lines on my face and transfer to clothes.

This is definitely a full coverage foundation and it was full coverage without making me look like I had a ton of makeup on. I did find that it accentuated my pores but it didn't catch on my dry patches. It dried down really fast so I was able to apply powder products on top without having to set it. It also wore well all day and it still looked fantastic when I removed it before bed. I think I'll need a pore filling primer with this but I'll definitely be sticking with it.
