This was a gift for my wife, and I bought a gray one for myself. We like them a lot. We both use them on a daily basis, both for everyday use and for outdoor trips. The dedicated laptop/tablet compartment is especially useful. We like their aesthetics, capacity, and versatility. I added a bungee cord, some extra padding to the laptop compartment, and two tactical pouches to mine to increase its functionality. After considerable use and abuse, they still look like new. After 15+ years of near-daily use, my TNF messenger bag was showing some wear. Decided to go with a backpack to better equalize the load. After trying and returning a cheaper TNF model, this one made the cut in spades - lots of small and thoughtful features, very comfortable for extended use (I have a long torso and very wide shoulders - hard to find a daily backpack that can accommodate that) and highly adaptable for mods. I wish TNF would've kept the luggage handle passthroughs on their travel backpacks, but $20 of webbing and G-hooks fixed that by utilizing the extra gear loops on the sides of the back panel - works perfect even with full loads, as the bag is well-balanced. Overall very satisfied and I hope it lasts as long as my previous bag.
