Modernist Razor-Sharp 3.5-inch Paring Knife, German Engineered Informed by 100+ Years of Mastery

I bought a seven piece set of Henkel's knives. I damaged my 3.5 razor sharp paring knife because I inadvertently left it in the dish pan in water and it pitted. By the way you never leave good knives and water. I don't know how it happened, but it did. I bought this knife to replace the one I damaged. They are excellent knives they are razor sharp. My 7-piece set is a self-sharpening set, which means when I replace the knife into the slot and I pull it from the slot is sharpens it. It took me two to three months to adjust to these knives because I ended up cutting myself so frequently. They are so sharp. I highly recommend this knife, and I highly recommend a set of self sharpening hinkles knives. You will not be disappointed.

We have the Henkel's knife Block, and unfortunately the Parers that came with the Block, the tips broke off both. Replaced them with these.

Although this knife is sharp and looks nice, it is too hard for using to pare, for example, apples. It’s too inflexible.

Great replacement for the paring knife that broke on our original set. A little pricey I will admit but the original set was very pricey to begin with so when a knife breaks you're a little surprised because it's only after a couple of years of owning it and you don't use that one particular night very much.

Good and sharp! I broke an identical one trying to chop ice:) The tip broke off. This is my favorite knife from the set and I needed to replace.

I have the Henckels 20 piece stainless knives set which cost close to $300 so when I broke the tip off of my 3.5 inch parer (using it for something I shouldn't have) I was freaking out! I quickly searched the net to see if I could get a replacement and sure enough I found this listing along with a few others. This knife is priced right, arrived quickly, is exactly as described and is an exact replacement for the 3.5 inch parer. My set is complete once again! Happy customer!
