Well what can I say? Used malthus product as directed but it didn't work. All it appeared to do was make the house stink like a chip shop and if anything, my cat was worse! I think he was trying to put his scent over the smell of the vinegar and scratched more than he dulid before. The search goes in fir a product that works.

It does seem to be deterring my cat from scratching AS MUCH in her usual areas and I have used up a bottle in a week and bought another to continue the process as it does say to spray 3-4 times a day for the first 2 weeks. If you only have a small area that needs attention then the bottle will last longer but my cat scratches several areas in the hallway and likes to attack and nibble 2 plants so I’ve had to apply liberally in these 2 areas also. I’ve not been spraying 3-4 times a day, just once and again if she’s scratching an area. Some other products might be cheaper but this was the cheapest I could find that was all natural and safe to use in carpets and plants. It states it smells pleasant to humans, so if you like a strong vinegar smell mixed with sweaty feet then you’ll be just fine! It does dissipate within 15-30 minutes though tbf.

Doesn't stop the cat for long. Need to reapply often. Has a dinky smell that I can't get along with.

Complete rubbish, the cats weren't bothered but the smell kept me out of the garden.!!

I sprayed it on all the problem areas and they scratched afterwards 🤷🏼‍♀️ waste of money, smells like vinegar.
