Got this for newly minister 7 year old, so excited to try home crafts this summer. Especially those marked for age 7+ and even 8+This set is to make BFF (best friends forever! Do kids still use this word) or matching sets of bracelets, and comes with enough supplies to make 5 sets, or 10 bracelets. As long as the strings are being used equally. Since mine kept reaching for orange, I had to do a quick trip to the local craft store for more string.Priced $11 at time of order and review, packaged in a brightly printed branded box. We got this for the granddaughter to use at a cousin party. The kids range from 4-12, and the little ones just don't have the coordination or patience to do them. The older kids, 9, 10, and 12, loved making bracelets. The wife figured out how to do that pattern and show the girls pretty quickly, but she wound up doing them for the little girls. We had some charms laying around, so they wove them into the bracelets for a personal touch. Based on their experience, I'd say the kit is a great girls party activity, just make sure they're old enough to be able to do it without help. Overall would recommend.

This bracelet making set is fun and the included materials are good quality. It’s great for a wide ranges of ages and such a great value for money considering the quality materials and quantity of materials.

My daughter loves making bracelets with the original Rainbow Loom kits with the rubber bands. She recently became interested in making different styles of bracelets, so I thought this kit would be a good choice. She says she loves it because it is easy to do, the instructions are clear, and there are lots of different patterns you can make. Also a bonus that there is a second loom so you can make bracelets with a friend at the same time! The only thing that would be helpful to include would be a small measuring tape to measure and cut the string. She keeps stealing my measuring tape! :)

If you've ever braided anything, you'll probably understand the usefulness of these clips. No more using your feet or doorknobs to hold the ends! They are easy to use, just secure the thread in place with a pop-on wedge. It pops on and off easily and holds tightly. The thread can be organized and held in place by groves along the edges of the clips, but it pulls at the thread a little. The clips are strong and well made. I expect they will hold up to normal use. The colors are bright and pretty. You get a bunch of other little things also. The thread is good quality for braiding. The s hooks leave a bit to be desired. They are hard to get on the bracelets and have rough edges that scratch skin. The instructions are completely confusing. The only one I could make was the one I already know how to do, the 3 strand braid. Still, it was fun to play around with and the clips are a tool that I will use again and again.

How do you keep 5 little girls in the neighborhood busy? Get this bracelet maker. They were entertained for quite awhile as they planned what to make and for who. Helps develop manual dexterity skills, too.

This set is so cute. However, the instructions are incredibly confusing and even after watching some YouTube videos we still couldn’t figure it out.

Rainbow Loom is a reputable brand and this was an adorable kit perfect for gifting to a BFF. The thread is high quality and the heart clip makes it easy to get started. There is an included page that shows some basic knots to create different patterns. I love that this includes two sets for friends to do together or allow one child to work on two different bracelets at the same time. Of course more embroidery thread can be used and the hearts are awesome to keep on hand and hold the threads well. This was an affordable and well-received gift.
