Beautiful product, clean light feeling just the right amount of glow without shimmer.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that this balm is really just shimmery, it's not glittery at all. I never liked the over-the-top glittery look anyway but, now that I'm older, it's really got no place in my life. This gives a beautiful glow with a sheen, and you can see just one sparkle here and there with movement. There are only a few iffy ingredients in this, tbh, but I have sensitive skin so I'll only use this on my body and *maybe* occasionally on my face. I did try it on my face the first day I got it, but I think it gave me a little breakout. I used it on my lips and, while it felt beautiful at the time, it didn't impart any moisture and, for 3 days after, my lips were so dry I couldn't believe it. I don't have an issue with dry lips, so it was this product.It's not oily/thick/heavy at all. Very sheer-feeling and -looking. (Felt almost watery on my lips - they just glided back and forth over each other.)To smell it in the container, it smells mildly fruity and plastic-y. On skin, it just smells fruity. It's light and really only noticeable if I smell the area I directly applied it to.Purchased through Vine for a discount (912/24): $14.99 at that time

If you're interested in trying the "glass skin" trend, this product is for you. When I first received it I was a bit concerned that it would be too sparkly, but that concern quickly dissipated when I applied it to my skin. The shine produced by this product is more of a dewy, moisturized, healthy glow rather than a glittery slick like some other products. What I really love about it is it does absorb nicely into the skin, so it's not overly sticky, and it immediately improves skin texture. I appreciate that it utilizes natural oils to moisturize the skin, and is vegan and cruelty-free. It's a big stick to boot, so it's going to last you some time. Overall, I absolutely recommend this glow stick!

The smell is not great.

I'm very, very pale and flush easily - I hate heat and avoid the sun. Put this on my cheeks and there was no change in appearance at all. Tried it on another area in case it was just an issue from being a new tube. STILL couldn't see anything. The only way I know anything was on my skin was when washing my face - it left this sticky, oily patch on my skin that was stubborn to wash off. I want to check it out in sunlight, but indoors, there was absolutely nothing visible. I thought it'd add a little bit of a summer glow to my face (especially with 'bronze' in the item name), but nada. What a shame. Maybe it works better on people who aren't as pale as me?

I love this oil glow stick, which make my skin shimmer and shine. It looks especially nice with my summer tan.I like how it leaves an oily barrier on my skin which makes it feel more hydrated.There is little bits of glitter in it that you don’t notice on the skin but which gives such a nice shimmery look. It glides on smoothly and is very easy to use. I like that I don’t get my hands oily when applying it.It has an odd scent but I don’t notice it after putting it on so 5 stars for this product.

As others have mentioned, this is definitely not a glitter product and I would even hesitate to classify it as a shimmer product. It does have the tiniest bits of shimmer, but they apply nice and spaced out and you have to peer quite close to see the glittering effect of them. The balm that it's suspended in does a lot of heavy lifting for the dewy look that's on trend for the moment. It's definitely not greasy or sticky, and my only (kinda) complaint is the smell. It's not terrible, but it's also not particularly pleasant. Reminds me of the little toy lipsticks/glosses I used to get from Claire's back in the day. A little plasticky? But it's not overpowering and you grow nose-blind to it pretty quickly.
