Brilliant book to get started with. CD is great to play and sing along with. Instructions are easy to understand and follow

This is great for young uke players (aged 5-9) and Mums and Dads too. If you are planning to teach uke in school I would go for School Ukulele Orchestra (same author and same songs) book instead. Don't buy both!

Great backing tracks to use with large groups of children. Very easy progression and clear layout with good explanations and pictures.

It was the perfect beginning to a musical career.

I knowm these songs are for kids but they are kind of lame. I also know that learning to play an instrument is hard and offering younger learners easy things to play that give them quick easy achievements is important to build confidence but he songs are not really fun or funny. Take a funny song and just strum C (third fret bottom string) along to the tune it'll be better.

I am an adult and brought this book for myself cos i wanted some thing simple and fun and easy to follow. Absolutely great!
