I hoped they would when I took the plunge and bought two, and I don't understand how they work, but they do. So, I'm surprised and pleased. There's a smoker in the house, and the living room always had an accumulated smell of smoke, but no more. They don't so much absorb it immediately as, in no time at all after the cigarette has been put out, the smell just disappears. As I said, I don't know how it works (and I really don't much care) I'm just glad it does. I can't help but think that, if it works on cigarette smoke, it should work on just about any other smell. Just one thing to point out....if you spray freshener it will gobble that up too!

I'm rather surprised that these work. I hoped they would when I took the plunge and bought two, and I don't understand how they work, but they do. So, I'm surprised and pleased.
