Galano Durban 3+4 Drawer Chest – Storage Cabinet for Bedroom, Hallway & Entryway – Closet Organizer with 7 Drawers – Light Grey/Oak

When this arrived I was very surprised at the weight of the carton. The driver had to use a sack truck from the van to my door. We emptied the box to bring it inside. The box had been badly bashed in transit but the contents were very well protected inside by huge amounts of expanded polystyrene. as a 75 year old suffering from COPD and Sciatica I had to to be careful in constructing this item. I made up the carcass in situ, on the first day and sat at a table to make the drawers on the second. The instruction diagrams were fairly clear but had to be followed very carefully. When fitting the drawers the top three look the same when made up but had to be put in the correct order to fit. I chipped the edge of one piece whilst putting it together but nothing to worry about. I was surprised at the quality of this flat pack piece of furniture. Good value for the price.

Great piece of bedroom furniture and somewhere to put all my t shirts and shorts and does the job. The quality of the various bits of the construction are pretty good but as always make sure you treat them with respect and it all goes together very well. Follow the instructions and one should not have any problems and only took a short time to complete. The finished article is very pleasing and getting away from the boring traditional pine look.

Arrived with slight damage to top, not from delivery, but not enough to return. Well made and substantial unit. Looks perfect in the bedroom.

Really lovely drawers .. solid and easy to build.

I bought 2 of this and I am extremely disappointed with this chest of drawers. It arrived with multiple scratches, visible surface damage, and very poor finishing. The build quality is awful — cheap materials, uneven edges, and badly aligned parts. For a new product, this is completely unacceptable. It looks worn and poorly made. Would not buy again.

Reading the comments I was worried if I would be able to assemble the cabinet. I really don't understand some people. Everything is beautifully described, each board has its own letter and the instructions are very simple. It took me 30 minutes to assemble one cabinet. The cabinet is heavy, solidly made. The color is wonderful.

Value for money. Very sturdy. I wish the drawers are deeper. The picture shows comparison of the drawer with the largest luggage size. And another pic to show the drawer can be deeper

Overall this was an easy product to build. It does the job I wanted of it. It is sturdy enough but I was slightly disappointed in the quality, especially the corner joins of the drawers. I expected this to be better as it wasn't a 'cheap B&M' set that I have preciously bought and found to be better quality!!! It looks nice, and is functioning in the manner I wanted it to. Just that slight lack of quality makes me down grade the stars a tad.
