HoneyGuaridan W18 Automatic Pet Water Drinking Fountain, Water Dispenser for Dogs and Cats, 2L (70 oz)

This is the second one I got for my pets, I have the light version too. This one is almost the same but got no light indicators and no buttons to change mode, so a simpler version. It have a 2 litre water capacity and comes with the filter for the first month. Was easy to install and start using and I am happy as the water flow encourages my dog and cat to drink more water. They instantly started using it :) It is noiseless and easy to refill and clean. The only thing hard to do is to clean inside the little tube connected to the water pump, i am using a straw cleaning brush to reach this part. Overall very happy hence that's my end purchase. P.S. I would had got the newest version if was available but this one works as well.

Love the idea of it but I do have some aspects I don’t like. The first of which is the actual pool of water at the top is quite shallow which I feel limits the amount of water my dog can drink. Secondly, the the pool so shallow I am very concerned that if something where to happen to the power supply, there would almost nothing to sustain them until I noticed it was no longer working. With that said I do love the product and the water capacity when it’s on. ————UPDATE———— After using it for a few weeks the water has started to build up above the filter. I have replace the filter twice in the space of 2 days and still seems to stop water from draining back into the reservoir. This has caused dirt to build up above the water filter in the drinking section. The only way to prevent water buildup is to remove the filter, which defeats the purpose of the machine. ———Update———— Was refunded full amount

Needed to replace my catmate filter so thought as this was on offer I would buy, was easy to set up and I also purchased a pack of filters for use in the future. After two weeks it stopped working, swapped plugs and found it was that so I contacted the supplier who sent me the link for a new plug. The replacement has a different fitting so of no use and after several emails back and forth they finally sent me a link for a plug I could use but a different make and promised that the guarantee would still be valid. Problem solved! But now four months on it has stopped working yet again, this time it seems to be the pump. Looking at Amazon I found a replacement pump but it also has a different connector! so I would have to also replace the plug at a cost of £19 for both. Contacting customer services is by email and after last time I have neither the time or inclination to do so again. Don't waste your money...buy from somewhere else.

I previously had the cat mate fountain, which if I chose to do I cud switch it off and the cats would Still have access to the water, with this one, once you switch it off there’s no access to the water

I find this easy to use and clean, and fairly quiet in operation (there's the slight sound of running water, as if you've left a tap on, which is louder without the water filter in place). The kittens like it, for cleaning their paws as much as drinking... and chewing the surround... I've given 4 stars as the instructions on how to place the pump are not clear, it seems to work how I've done it in the picture :)

I got confused and thought this one also had the motion sensor but it doesn't. Having said that, I'm still really pleased with it. The instructions to put it together aren't that clear. You have to place the pump in the grey rubber thingy in the square and then feed the cord down the tall tube until it pops out underneath the base, pull it through until the rubber cap covers the top of the tube and then attach the usb to the plug. I don't love leaving it on all the time so I tend to switch it off if I know the cat is sleeping upstairs or something and then switch it on again if I'm leaving the area. I have to say, it's usually really difficult to get my cat to drink anything. She has a normal water bowl and a floor water glass. I have to pretend the glass is my water so she'll drink out of it (the things we do for cats) but she seems to really like this fountain and I've seen her use it often and for a long time, so I hope it helps her stay hydrated better. I'm really pleased with it. Also, my housemate thought I'd bought a very tiny (and presumably very boring) water feature to put on the floor but I think that says more about him than the fountain.

My cats like this and so do I. It runs silently. The only time it really makes a noise is when the fountain is running dry, topping up with water solves the issue. A great success and happy cats. Clean once a week from the fur etc. collected on the filter and change the filter once a month. Simple and easy to clean, takes a few minutes.

My kitten was a confused for all of 30 seconds before he started lapping away at the water. He loves it! Not just drinking from it..he likes to stick his paws in to play too which I'm not thrilled about but is quite amusing. The fountain is wonderfully quiet. I can't hear the motor at all and can only hear the odd trickle of water. It was quick and easy to assemble. Overall a brilliant product especially considering the cheap price! I immediately bragged to my cousin and she's already bought one for for her cats too!
