I bought a 660yd spool on amazon warehouse. I've always had good experience with warehouse purchases. Got burned this time. Someone had spooled on their reel then tied it back on and respooled it and put it back in the package. NOT AMAZON'S FAULT. You couldn't know without unspooling it. I write this only to warn people to be careful when purchasing line from the warehouse.All that being said. Maxima line is larger diameter than other lower priced lines and about the same memory. Don't think it's worth the extra cost.

Maxima ultra green fishing line has always been my go to favorite. Best Strength and invisibility in any line I’ve tried.

I heard good things about this line. It is strong and does not twist much. This will be my only mono in the future.

Monofilament made by Maxima--there really is nothing else that needs be said. . . this is the same high quality item Maxima has made for years! Although there are alternatives that can meet the quality, diameter, strength, limpness, durability, color, etc. elements, I have not found anything superior to make a change in the 50+ years been fishing with Maxima.

I've been using for years. Still tough and and ties good knots.

Excellent line. Virtually invisible under water4lb has landed 15+ lb fish in current with good drag reel.Will buy again!

Feels quality. I will know more when I go catfishing.

Very limp line- does not have any line memory. Makes casting with short rod in tight spots very accurate and easy. Will be getting for the rest of my reels.

Good strength to this line, easy to work with and tie knots. Spool has 660 yards, plenty for a very reasonable price.Hauled in some good size Coho's and no probs at all.

Is there better line for salmon fishing? I’d say if your buying this you already know that!
