Audien Hearing ION – Wireless Rechargeable OTC Hearing Aid for Seniors & Adults, Premium Comfort Design, Nearly Invisible

The ION Hearing Aid is very compatible to my expensive prescription Hearing Aids (HAs). I like how comfortable they are when I am wearing them. Other thing I like are the double dome ear domes which ensures that the earlobe is seal for no feedback (squeal) from the HAs. I like to longer delay in powering up the Has so I can properly seat them in my ears. The charging case is very compact and well design as well has portable and can charge the HAs at least 3X before you need to plug it in. As for hearing, the ION performs remarkably well. I can hear near the same as my Costco brand HAs. Some other observations is the you need to take off the tape (it says REMOVE) so you can begin charging the new HAs. The wire can be adjusted and flex to your liken. The instuctions are clear and easy to follow. If you are looking to try Has for the first time, I would definitely go with the Audien Brand great support and excellent quality. You will save a lot of money and I really think you will be very satisfied.

The Audien ION is the best and most affordable of the OTC hearings aids that I have tried and the most comparable to my old, far more expensive Rx hearing aids. They are more comfortable and feel more secure than in-the-canal models, plus they are nearly invisible. The ION not only amplifies voices, it provides greater sound clarity than the other OTC hearing aids I have tried. As I do not have the patience to change batteries, I appreciate that the ION is rechargeable and and comes with a rechargeable case. The charge lasts far longer than the six to eight hours that I need them for. Although I initially found the controls on the devices somewhat awkward to manage, as I became accustomed to them and determined the settings that I need, that issue disappeared. In other words, I recommend the Audien ION to anyone looking for a low-cost, high-quality hearing aid.

I originally tried the Audien Atom Pro 2, they felt a bit heavy in my small ears. I then purchased the Audien Ion Wireless Rechargable model, & they were a game changer, as far as how they felt lighter in my ears. The volume & mode are easy to switch back & forth. It’s the same button, u just hold down for a few seconds until u hear a bloop sound & the number of bloops tells u what mode you’re in, whether for outside, conversation, restaurant, driving, etc. I have had these for 2 weeks & wearing them an hour or 2, to get used to them & have not had to charge the battery yet. Long battery life is a real plus! The clarity for conversations or watching TV is excellent. No more blasting TVs at my house! I really love these hearing aids. My brain just needs a little more practice of wearing them to get used to them. I’m thrilled with these & are telling all of my friends that they should try them!

I will say when these work, they work well. The sound quality is great and I like how easy they are to use. Having said that, I am very disappointed in the quality. My first pair did not work out of the box. Audien sent another pair after I returned the first pair. I don't use them every day so they are not heaviy used. But I can't get them to charge any more. I plug them in, the three green lights come on. I charge them overnight. Go to put them in and they won't turn on. I am so frustrated because I need them to teach class. So after spending over $500 less than a year ago, I guess I need to find another brand. I give up.

I selected the Audien ion rechargeable hearing aids because I had lost one of my previous set, and because the previous set had seen better days. I have only had the Audien ion for 5 days, but i am very impressed by the quality and ease of use. They are simple to wear with a small dome which fits in the ear and a receiver that goes behind the ear, which is so comfortable i have forgotten i had them on. There are 9 volume settings and 4 modes which you can adjust depending on your environment. The sound is at least as good as other hearing aids I have owned which cost over 5000 dollars, for one tenth of the price! I love that they are rechargeable and can be stored and charged in a small pocket sized case. The customer service is also excellent. I have spoken with Aleli several times and she has been very knowledgeable and patient. Overall, I am very happy with Audien ion and would definitely recommend to others.

The box arrived on time and was adequately packaged. The devices appeared to be well-made and small enough not to be noticeable when worn. Unfortunately, after giving them a short trial, they did not perform to my expectations. I have been wearing prescribed hearing aids for over 3 years, and these did not compare to the quality of sound that I have enjoyed with my doctor-prescribed pair. I returned them for a refund.

Gave four stars..4.5 would be perfect. They are not quite as good as from audiologist, but boy a very close 2nd. For OTC they are great. The only thing you need to do is turn them on after they come out of charger and take 10 seconds to put in ear ( no problem). Turn them off prior to charging for the night. They hold volume settings even when off so you dont need to play with them daily. They dont need to be taken apart to clean. They are almost as easy as prescription. Customer service is awsome.

Pleased with the product. Performs well as advertised. I have prior history with prescription BTE hearing aids and this performs much better. I have not needed to make mode or volume adjustments. I use it aprox. 10-12 hrs per day on single charge. Charging case lasts 3 days without recharging. Sound quality is excellent. Minimal feedback noted. Customer support Shairalen) was excellent and very helpful with the product. addendum 5/13/25= provided excellent results until recently when a wax guard broke leaving a portion in the earpiece canal resulting in >50% reduction in volume. I have spent several hours and >10 phone calls only to be met with an AI conversion or a Spanish speaking person. product quality is good but support is poor. 6/10/25 Contacted Ben in product support who was very polite and helpful. He stayed on top of my problem and got it resolved with a new replacement package. I am very pleased with the support and results.
