My kid just killed his cactus by over watering... and I wanted something can show him how to care for a plant. This planter is perfect! It gave a personality to the plant so my kids cares about it more. I love you can choose to see the face or the data. My kids wants to see faces and I much prefer the data. The display is bright even under the sun. The surface is smooth and easy to clean. There is no water leak, the drainage system works perfectly. The app works well. Things I'm hoping for: I'm hoping the buttons are easier to press. I hope they sell a bigger version for spices. And the container can contain more water so I don't have to worry about it when taking on a trip. overall fun little activity with kids.

I got this planter for my daughter to plant the seed in it, she has so much fun with it! It is super cute and easy to use, just connect it with WiFi and phone app, then follow the instructions. It tells plant's needs through emotion expression, so we can control the lighting, temperature , humidity and watering. This smart planter really does the job, it helps us monitor the plant's growth!

Is such a cute idea but doesn’t work right! It gets frozen, doesn’t register the water intake & stays on the crying screen- even when we’re doing what supposed to! It really sucks seeing a plant crying all the time like we’re doing something wrong. I read the awful reviews but wanted to take the chance & the awful reviews were completely correct. Returning before it’s too late

I absolutely love the PLANTSIO Smart Pet Planter! 🌱🤖 It’s honestly one of the most unique and fun desk accessories I’ve ever owned. Like other reviews have said, it's small - like really small. Picture is of my hand next to the box and the actual planter doesn't even take up the full box. That being said, I think that makes it the perfect gift (which it is) because no one would think they're getting a good value out of this. It's so cute though and I really think they'll like it, so it's a win for me!

I received this as a Christmas gift. It was cute at first but I've had nothing but problems with it. I tried a basic, easy growing pathos in it first but it never registered the water correctly and kept asking for more. The plant ended up dying. I have no problems growing plants from cuttings in non-smart pots. I took a break, changed out the soil and tried again with a spider plant, again a super easy plant to grow. Now all it does is ask for 80ml of water. The thing only holds 50ml up to the rim. I've tried taking the plant out, filling it with water, resetting it, nothing will get rid of the screen saying it needs more water. The battery drains super quickly, doesn't even last a few hours, so I have to keep it plugged in. Not too big of a deal but I need an extra long cable to reach it. Pots tethered to a cord are a little cumbersome. Overall, cute idea just wish it worked correctly. It's advertised as a smart pot that can sense plant needs based on the type of plant. In reality it's a teeny tiny planter with a bulky look and a weird, seldomly working screen. ————- Update: seller reached out and sent a new one after trying to troubleshoot the old one. The new Ivy is working great so far. I was even able to upload my own picture to the screen. I’m so glad it no longer begs for water when it doesn’t need any. I still wouldn’t use it as a “smart pot” and rely on it to tell me when to water. It’s still a small pot for most plants so beware of that. But it’s working so far for a newly rooted spider plant. It is really cute and fun to watch the expressions.

I really wanted to love the SmartIvy planter. The design is sleek, the app works well, and I love how it keeps tabs on moisture, light, and temperature—it’s basically a plant parent’s dream. When it's running, it does exactly what it promises. BUT the battery life is super underwhelming. It dies way too fast, to the point where I basically have to keep it plugged in all the time. Which kind of defeats the purpose of having a smart, portable planter, right? If you’ve got an outlet nearby and don’t mind a little cable clutter, it’s still a fun and helpful gadget. Just don’t expect much freedom from the cord. 📝 I appreciate innovative products like this and would love to test more—especially if future versions come with better battery life. This products English can be a bit funny. 11th was shown as "11st" . That was kinda embarrassing to learn after i gave it to an English teacher. And not many plants are supported, so I had to select something that was remotely close to the Asparagus Fern which I planted on it. It's a great product nevertheless. If you don't want to see the emoji face, then you can always update it to show clock or calender or even weather. You need to use the "Tuya" app for setting it up properly, and the app can help to give you more monitoring info.

It’s such a unique cute little piece. A great gift and it so belong on u nightstand while being plugged all the time cause it shows the weather and time too
