Exactly what I was looking for
This survival bar is exactly what I was looking for to put in my "get home bag" in my car. Regular food bars don't last long and these have a five year expiration date. I ate one for dinner. It is edible, but also very thirst-provoking. I keep water in my bag as well, so that's fine. It was crumbly, but that's not a problem. I felt fine and was not hungry for 12 hours until breakfast, so it lasted a good long time. I don't understand the negative comments about the taste. It's a bit too sweet and salty for me, but it's a survival bar, not a gourmet meal! - It's cheap - It's edible - Five years until expiration - I ate one for dinner and was not hungry at all for 12 hours. - Perfect for a SHTF kit. Five stars. It does EXACTLY what I need it to do.

Very Good Emergency Bar
I don't get why so many people are concerned with taste and texture. An "Emergency" bar only has to pass three criteria as far as I'm concerned: Is it palatable? Does it supply enough calories to save my arse in an emergency? Does it have a sufficiently long shelf life? This bar passes all three. I would have given the bar five stars however, I had to remove one star due to the loss of shelf life. The bars that I received today, 12/15/25, were made 09/24. So, these bars have been sitting on a shelf in a warehouse somewhere for a year and three months, meaning I've lost over twenty percent of my potential storage life before I even received them. The bars themselves are great. On a side note, if you're a gym rat, these bars provide a good, dense source of pre-workout calories to help power you through your sets.

I Don’t Recommend!
I’ve been ordering emergency food supplies for a while but these are the worst purchase that I’ve made so far. They are almost pure crystallized sugar dumped into a shortbread type of consistency and not cooked, just raw sugar. I will stick with my usually purchase of Emergency Food Ration Bars even though they are not gluten free, they are delicious and I know I won’t be torturing anyone to eat them if an emergency arises.

Nope
The texture is like eating sand and the taste is mediocre. And DON'T eat it in the car while driving, it crumbles with every bite, no matter how careful you are. Not sure I can eat any more of them, unless I was starving, even then, better have some water to wash it down.

Great product, especially for those with food sensitivties.
I got these to keep in the cars for emergencies. As I have to eat gluten free, I very much appreciate that these fit my dietary needs. A gluten free version of this type of thing (calorie dense, long shelf life) is rare. I ate one for breakfast to see how they are and it was great. Lemon shortbread wouldn't have been my first choice for flavors, but it was fine. I hope they come out with some additional flavors in the future.

Damn good gluten free lemon shortbread style cookie bar
Holy crap these taste good! I generally definitely don’t like sweet things, but this is like buttery shortbread cookies with lemon and damn! I ate half one night and saved the other half for the next day because I need to lose weight. Still in eating half a bar and one taquito I’m really full! I’m getting ready to subscribe to them so I get a little bit of a discount, but I still think they’re worth it without subscribe and safe.
