Strip works fine w/ Google Assistant; the Android app is way behind.
This pic is of the strip at the top of the window w/ a custom color at about 47% power in broad daylight. I have Google Home/Assistant and the strip responds to my voice controls, and I'll admit that the voice control is pretty impressive ("Hey Google, turn the Window to violet"); yeah. The strip was easy to install behind the blinds using 3 extra double-stick pads and a 9' foot USB white extension cord that I got on Amazon. The only time that I experienced problems connecting was when my USB Power Supply was not strong enough. When I plugged it into my Smart Charger USB outlets, then the connection problems went away. The Android app leaves much to be desired. It seems like the whole app works by this tiresome way of holding down an icon to get to another menu (none of this is written on the app). They have plenty of preset colors, but I see nothing about saving your custom colors to a preset/scene for another day. Also, if the Android app offers any form of scheduling, then I didn't find it. It seems that all of those bragging rights belong to the Apple Nonsense group, and the Andriod app was an afterthought.

Thousands of colors, great performance and extremely easy setup.
There are several LED light strips on the market and the most famous ones are the Philips Hue, but they are very expensive. I looked for hours on Amazon for an option with the perfect balance between price and quality, and I think I struck gold: HomeKit compatible (in addition to Alexa), excellent build quality (almost rugged), good length (more than 6 ft), thousands of colors and great brightness. Those were my main requirements and this light strip fulfills them all.HomeKit setup was a breeze, I didn't even need to download Koogeek's app. I just connected the strip to a USB power adapter, fired up Apple's Home app, added a new accessory (taking a picture of the included code) and done!, a 1 minute process. Now I can control it from the Home App or even through Siri, just by saying "Hey Siri, turn light strip blue".All in all, excellent value and great performance.

Needs work
Used this light strip as accent lighting behind my TV. I chose this product for its cost and that it claims to integrate into Apple Homekit (Siri) and Amazon Alexa ecosystems. The product arrived well packaged in a small box with good packing. Integration with Apple Homekit was flawless and perfect, not so with Alexa though. Linking the product to Alexa worked as documented but Alexa was never able to "discover" the light strip. Even after watching the tutorials Alexa wasn't able to "discover" the light strip. Control of the light strip through the Koogeek app and Apple Home worked without question. Unfortunately if you control the light strip with their app or Apple Home, color selection and brightness are not remembered. The light strip was powered by the USB port on my TV. Again color selection and brightness were not remembered when I would power on the TV. If you used the on/off switch on the device, those settings are remembered but not through the app or Apple Home. The latest issue I've been faced with has to do with the adhesive on the back of the strip. When I came home from work, there was the light strip piled up on the floor. It would not stick to the back of the TV. Customer support was responsive but wasn't able to help, aside from referencing the tutorials and included instructions. I will be returning this product. I hope that they continue to improve this product as it has potential in that price point.

Unreliable product with unreliable customer service
I wanted to love this product. A homekit enabled LED strip powered by USB is exactly what I want to add to my home. When it arrived I plugged it in excitedly, and.... nothing happened. The lights didn't turn on. I tried pairing it with homekit, which was successful, but it still wouldn't turn on.So I returned the product, and ordered a second one. This one turned on when I plugged it in, so I was off to a good start! I began the process of pairing it with homekit, but this time I was unable to pair the device. I've reset it to factory settings multiple times, I tried using the koogeek app, I've tried different power sources... nothing works. Maybe I'll order a third light-strip to see if I have more luck, but I'm concerned about the reliability of the product. If two of them are Busted out-of-box, how can I expect the thing to last?Final note: Customer service for this company has been unresponsive. No phone number, just an email address... no reply after four days. This is extremely disappointing...

Amazing LED strips
I just recently purchased my 7th Koogeek smart LED strip due to getting another shelf in my room and decided I wanted a bit more accent lighting. Anyway, let’s get to my review.— This is a great smart LED strip and very affordable.— WiFi set-up, setting scenes or automations is super easy.— There are a lot of color choices and many brightness settings.— Since these are smart LED strips and my home runs on HomeKit it’s great being able to ask Siri to due things such as dimming the LED strips to a certain percentage, change color of the LED strips to match whatever stage of a game I am playing or movie I am about to watch.I honestly should have reviewed this when I ordered my first LED strip, I’m not entirely sure why I waited till I purchased my 7th one for my bedroom but I am very pleased with the purchase and quality of the strips.
