OMG so addictive
I can't say this was something I was homesick for like some reviewers. I love biltong and this popped up a a recommendation. Sounded a bit reminiscent of German Landjaeger, a nice dry sausage we use to get at the German deli. This is lovely. Dry and crisp, perfect casing, a nice crunch and then a chew. Lovely spices, nice meaty flavour. I thought other reviewers who said that theirs only lasted a short time were greedy or weak. But no, these are lovely, moreish and addictive. Only a quarter of the way through my order and contemplating a re-order. Bought this mostly for my son. Poor dear may not get any.

Taste of home
This is great for when I am feeling home sick as there are few things that say South Africa like a stokkie of droewors. As a personal preference this is slightly drier than I like it but it makes sense when considering it is catering for all tastes. Absolute must to follow the instructions and let the packet air for a bit as this helps with the texture. Can not comment on how well it stores as it never lasts long enough in our house for it to matter.

Rock hard, what a shame because flavour was a taste of home. Couldn't eat it
It was so dry and rock hard which was a shame cause you could taste the flavour. Real disappointed.

Changed for the worse
I used to love this droewors, was so tasty and moreish. Now it’s a strange colour, is too fatty and tasteless. So disappointing 😞

Really good drywors
Not far off from the drywors one could expect to find back home in SA. I really enjoyed the blend of spices. Nice flavour. On the drier side which was great as well. I will definitely be sticking with this brand from now on. 4 and a half out of 5.
