When I've bought higher quality silicone matts with a lip before they're typically rolled in such a way the curl is downward when it's unrolled, causing no issue. It's been two days of laying out flat in the sun with books on them and they still haven't lost their curl. Other than that, solid product. Only slightly disappointed. Also, I noticed it stays moist under my dogs water bowl and now the silicone part of the bowl is all moldy.
