I use this UBeesize 10" ring light mainly for live streaming and work video calls, and it has been a solid upgrade to my desk setup. The desk clamp is very sturdy and holds firmly without shaking, and the adjustable arm makes it easy to position the light exactly where I need it. The lighting is bright but soft, which really helps reduce shadows on my face and looks much more professional on camera. It’s comfortable for long video calls and doesn’t feel harsh on the eyes. The phone holder is also secure and keeps my phone stable during recording or streaming. For the price, the build quality and lighting performance are excellent. Easy to set up and very practical for anyone doing remote work, Zoom meetings, or live streaming.

Good tripod and pretty nice light especially for the price. The ring light is a highly recommended product for improving lighting in photos, videos, and video calls. Updated Review: After my initial review, I was contacted by the seller and offered a replacement product in order to revise my original review. Within 2 days of receiving the replacement product, I had the same problem as the original. My husband uses this light extensively during Zoom meetings while working from home full time. Within 2 days, the foam tape holding the LED tape had released and the LED tape would lean against the light diffuser, making individual diodes visible and overly bright. I dismantled the original light that was received and removed as much of the foam tape as I could without damaging the LED tape ring. I replaced the original foam tape with 3M VHB double-sided foam tape and after several days of continuous use, I have not had any problems. Overall, this is a great light if you are taking selfies for social media, but the adhesive used is not suitable for extended use of the light for video conferencing while working from home. I really like that you can change the color temperature of the light and the brightness to suit many different environments. After my modifications it works great as a light source for video conferencing, but be aware that if you intend to use the light for 6-8 hours per day, 5 days per week, you will need to use a better adhesive tape. Popping off the light diffuser is fairly simple, and the LED tape was already separated from the back panel. I removed the top layer of the foam tape without damaging the LED ring and used the 3M VHB tape in small pieces around the ring. Replacing the light diffuser cover is a bit challenging for 1 person because you have to apply even pressure to the entire ring to snap it back into place. It was a simple procedure with 2 people. Overall, the tripod and included phone holder have had zero problems and I think the tripod is really high quality. Original Review: I was pretty impressed with this product at first because it was a competitive price and appeared to be a really good quality. After a couple months of use, the LED strip comprising the ring inside the light has detached from the back piece and is loose inside. This makes it fall forward against the diffuser and makes it too bright in areas with individual LEDs showing. I'm going to have to try and separate the cover to get to the internals and glue the LED strip back down to the backing. Which means something will likely break or I'll find the cover is glued on vs snap on and it will not be repairable.

The light is bright and even without being harsh, perfect for video and recordings. The overhead phone mount is very convenient and easy to adjust. Feels sturdy, saves desk space, and works well for daily use. Overall very satisfied with the quality.

Got this for recording videos and it’s been super useful! The ring light is bright with good adjustment options, and the overhead phone mount makes it easy to film from different angles. As many of you my professional life has moved online. I work as a teacher and film/tv actor. For online meetings, this thing is great as it lights up you face well and doesn't cast harsh shadows behind you. For taped auditions it's very bright and lights up a medium-wide shot no problem. No fancy light kit required. It comes with a tripod, a cellphone holder, a universal mount thing; there's a lot in the box and it's easy to set the thing up anywhere and anyhow you want. The quality is so-so. The light itself is good and bright with three colour settings, natural, warm, and cool. It doesn't flicker and is consistent throughout. The tripod and attachments are all cheap feeling plastic but at this price point you shouldn't expect more. It's good enough just for a light but I wouldn't bang it around or anything. A side benefit I noticed is that my family has relegated me to the basement for my home office, there's no windows or natural light there. After one morning meeting I left the light on and noticed I worked better throughout the day, it was like having a window there. Not a very scientific experiment but I've been leaving it running all day and out of the corner of you eye it does feel like a window and is helping me stay focused on work.

I bought this because my makeup mirror (which is lighted) is too dim and I don’t get enough natural light to see as well as I’d like for makeup. Other lamps etc are either too cool or too warm and distort the colours. This is perfect. It does adjust to a cool or warm tone if you want, but I use the neutral setting. I have it right behind my makeup mirror, angling down from the top. It gives a perfect amount of light to light my face brightly and evenly, and I like that the angle is adjustable and can be locked into place so it doesn’t move around. The height is adjustable to quite tall - I could almost have it on the ground for use when sitting at my desk/makeup table but it wouldn’t come over the top of my mirror then nor be close enough to it. I took a point off for sturdiness because it’s not the most sturdy but it is decent, especially if like me you are just going to put it in one place and use it rather than transporting it l
