Worth it
I’m more than happy with this one. The sheath strap was high for my liking. So I modified the sheath and I understood why it came with an extra snap instantly. I was not expecting the sheath to be usable. Shoot, after treating the leather and lowering the strap, I couldn’t be happier. For the blade itself, after hitting it with the strop the thing is as sharp can be. The handle needs smoothing out but elbow grease is to be expected at this price. The snaps say the state of Oklahoma on them? Overall excellent.

This knife is good for cutting things. It chops real real good though.

Thick and tough
The steel is thick and pretty tough. Some of the reviews had me worried but I decided to get 1 anyway and I wasn't disappointed. Great working knife. Chops very well. The weight is where its supposed to be. Retains the edge well. Feels very nice in the hand. Fits great. Not made for small hands. Definitely worth the money

DULL basically no edge profile
Purchased Jan 10th to replace my victorinox at work. Finally had time to actually look at it today. Needless to say very disappointed. I don’t think I’ve ever received a more dull knife from any company ever. Even the cheap knives from the cash registers from the 90’s had better edges. On a brighter note it does feel good in the hands. I actually have time to do a full edge profile and sharpen today so can’t say mutch on strength and edge retention not that I’m expecting 62hrc or anything. Will update when I can actually use it at work.

The only thing about this that's like a Kukri is the shape
The only thing about this that's like a Kukri is the shape, I have 3 15" Kukri from Nepal that I've bought over the years and there are some differences. • This is claimed to be hand-made but I have my doubts. The fit and finish it too good. The box it comes in, however, does appear to be handmade. • It is too light to be practical for much serious bushwhacking. It only weighs about 13 oz. compared to the 26 oz. of my other Kukris. For around the yard work, it may be fine. • It's claimed to be D2 steel. With no markings, that would be hard to verify. • The blade is about ½ the thickness of my Kukris, about 1/8", and I wouldn't feel comfortable on doing some serious hacking. • The handle looks nice but I have a feeling it would get slippery when wet so keep that in mind. Not that this is a bad knife but it wasn't right for me so I sent it back. I did pick up another similar knife from, what appears to be the same knife-maker (same packaging and sheath) that will ride with me in the car. It's a few ounces heavier but still not what I'd bring camping. The handle does get slick when wet so I wrapped it with some skateboard tape. As for the D2 steel in these knives, I was not impressed with the edge retention but maybe I'm rougher on knives than some other may be. YMMV

Absolutely stunning Value for the money.
Absolutely stunning Value for the money. I honestly couldn't be happier with my out of the box experience for the price I paid for these. I buy my knives in pairs.. I just do, so this review is for 2 Kukri Survival Knives. Both knives came razor sharp, literally hair shaving, paper cutting, card board clean cut single slash sharp. Amazing. I have paid 4 times as much for knives that didn't come as sharp as these knives. Full Tang, Solid Craftsmanship not a mark or defect on the blades anywhere. I love the Finger Grooves. Wish the sheaths had something other than a Leaf on them, because a leaf is kinda boring, and well lets face it not very imposing or cool looking. Sheathes are good quality and do exactly what a sheath is supposed to do Final Note: These state they are made of D2 steel, however there is no markings or etching on the blade that says so etc. They are very Clean highly polished and and the grind is superb. These do not look like budget knives and their blade finish is easily on par with Knives I have spent much more money on. The grip is more than adequate for my hand size. If you have medium to large hands this knife should work great for you. However if you have smaller hands the scales maybe to large for you and you may need to to choke up on the grip etc. A note On Balance: I felt the knives were balanced just fine for me. They are nimble in the hand and since these are Kukri Knives they slightly forward heavy by design. As kukri blades are made for deeper arching slice attacks and hacking through brush. My wrist never felt tired using this knife.
