I've been taking Royal Oak Health's Magnesium Bisglycinate capsules for a few weeks now, and I'm really pleased with the results. I've been experiencing some muscle aches and fatigue after my workouts, and I was hoping that magnesium would help alleviate those symptoms. I've tried other magnesium supplements in the past, but I've found that this one is much easier on my stomach. I think it's because of the bisglycinate form, which seems to be more gentle and bioavailable. One thing that really stood out to me about this product is that it provides 200mg of elemental magnesium per serving. I've learned that elemental magnesium is the actual amount of magnesium that's available for your body to use, rather than just the overall weight of the magnesium compound. So, it's great to see that Royal Oak Health is transparent about the amount of elemental magnesium in their product. I've also noticed that my sleep has improved since taking these capsules. I've been falling asleep faster and waking up feeling more refreshed! I like that these capsules also contain vitamin B6, which I know is important for energy metabolism and immune function. Good value with 120 capsules and for a change genuine non-buffered Magnesium Glycinate. You can always tell this by working out the percentage of elemental magnesium. The maximum elemental magneisium in magnesium glycinate is around 12%, so the ones which advertised 20% are buffered, usually with cheaper Magnesium oxide which is very poorly absorbed and gives stomach issues. These are the real thing and the fact that I can take four or five with no tummy issues whatsoever confirms this. The fake ones result in several uplannned bathroom visits...

I got this for my sister who uses a lot of magnesium spray on her aches and pains and also typically doesn't sleep well. She said it's nice that they are vegetarian and UK made, easy to swallow and has had no ill effects in the week or so she has been taking them. She said it's probably too early to give a definitive answer but she's convinced that it has helped in some small way. Obviously long term use will be the best way to see for sure. This is a good supplement and it's nice to have B6 and magnesium in one capsule as one helps the function of the other and it saves taking a separate supplement. So far so good, and a good price for 120 capsules, which at 2/day will last a couple of months.

The product pictures are misleading. There is not 200mg of elemental magnesium per serving as shown in the pictures. You need to take 4 capsules to get 400mg elemental (if that's what your aiming for). So 120 capsules only actually lasts a month.
