The FY8 304 Stainless Steel Automatic Float Valve is a compact, corrosion-resistant water level controller designed for easy installation and reliable automatic shut-off without electricity. ## Description

This is a new automatic float valve, compared with the traditional float valve, this float valve is small in size, long in life, high in flow and will not be corroded and so on. People commonly used in water towers, kitchen tanks, fountains, livestock drinking water and so on. How does it work? A float valve inside allows water to flow until a specific level is reached. Once the water reaches this level, the float valve will be pushed up with water due to buoyancy and stop the flow of water. When the water level starts dropping, the valve will open again, and the water will start to flow again. Review: Works great, don't bother with included adapter - Wish I had installed this ages ago! I used this to auto fill my chicken waterer. No issues. Installing was quick and easy. I ended up getting a 1/2" npt to 3/4" garden hose adapter to attach to it. Maybe that is why I didn't have the leaking issue people seemed to have in other reviews. The included 3/4" to 1/2" adapter is npt and not garden hose thread. Even when using it just to get 3/4” npt, it is super loose. You would need tons of thread tape and there is nothing to stop it when you screw it down. It just keeps screwing down the elbow beyond the threads. I wouldn't bother with the included adapter. Another review said that it fills very slowly. I did not find that to be the case. It actually startled me when I turned the water on. It sounds like the hose on full blast on the jet setting. Once the water reaches the valve, it shuts off. So far so good, will update this review if needed.

Wish I had installed this ages ago! I used this to auto fill my chicken waterer. No issues. Installing was quick and easy. I ended up getting a 1/2" npt to 3/4" garden hose adapter to attach to it. Maybe that is why I didn't have the leaking issue people seemed to have in other reviews. The included 3/4" to 1/2" adapter is npt and not garden hose thread. Absolutely do not buy this piece of Chinese garbage. If you can afford to have a water all over the place event, go ahead and buy it. If you can't, stay away. This is total garbage and it's leaked all over our new kitchen on the second day of was installed.
