Lizard Skins

I wanted a chain stay protector for a Brompton, and there are a lot of them to choose from. This was cheaper than a lot of the stick-on carbon fibre or titanium ones, so it's with a try. When I got it I realised it was a lot longer than I needed, so I just cut a section off it and used that. It works perfectly, can be taken off and washed if it gets grubby, and I have the rest of it to use when the first bit wears out.

This item works exactly as it should.. saving your chainstay from getting battered and bumped.Easy to fit though I would recommend the large size for the MERIDA Big Trail 400 I ordered a medium size which was very tight but does fit.Quality item and well worth fitting to your new ride.

Great, sleek design way to install

Bought the medium for my Giant hardtail. Turned up when expected. The velcro strip is wide enough to take into account the different widths at each end of chainstay so I could get it snug all the way along. I would recommend removing rear wheel first. It’s quite fiddly to line up velcro with the wheel in the way. The length is good and covers enough of the chainstay so none of the chain can now hit my frame. Overall really happy. Good fit. Well made and thick enough to massively reduce noise of chain slap.

This neoprene and Velcro cover is perfect to protect the chainstay on my Trek Farley 5 fat bike. What is then point of going off road on the monster truck of bikes if you are worried about damage. This simple lizard skin fits well around the chainstay to protect from stone chips and from damage from the chain. Simple to measure the circumference of your bike frame chainstay and choose the best size.

Seems very solid, fits well (Medium on Trek X-Caliber 8), nice colour.

Great because it can move from bike to bike with you and just throw it in the wash if it's dirty.

Does what its designed to do. Medium Fit my Cannondale Trail 2 SE perfect. Went to a Wicked rock/root trail, it didn't budge. Perfect!

I love this item. Solid stitching, quality neoprene and velcro. Was worried about sizing and went with medium. It looks and fits great. Covers almost the whole bar. The velcro runs across the entire length so it should not come off while riding.

Materiale fantastico che aderisce e si sagoma perfettamente al traverso anche se dovessero passarci delle guaine, è giusto un po' difficile da pulire
