Took a few reboots to work, been working great!
First off, the Innoview can work without connecting the external power-supply. IF your laptop USB-C port can provide enough current to power both screens -- but its less stress on your laptop USB-C pulling all that current if you use the external power-supply, and the dual-screens are brighter doing it too. Also, I had some initial issues getting laptop to to recognize Innoview & let Innoview autorun its driver-installer, so I recommend first thing, plugging Innoviews power supply in its top USB-C connector & letting the Innoview fully boot up with "Innoview" splash screen, before connecting Innoview to your laptops USB-C. Another thing you'll notice from the pic is I have all 3 connectors used, I was unable to get both screens running from the same USB-C port as the documentation showed, I needed a USB-C pory for bottom screen & HDMI port for the top. The other thing you will notice is that even though my multiport USB-HDMI hub has USB-A, usb-c & HDMI ports, I was unable to run both displays through it no matter what combination of ports I tried. Perhaps if I used a full external-powered docking-station I could run both monitors from the docking station, but this hub at least would not run both. What this means is if you are running out of USB ports, a hub like mine would be good to let you run 1 display + give you extra USB ports for things that aren't displays. But even though this hub had USB ports & an HDMI port I could not run both screens through the hub.

drivers are terrible, doesn't work
The Good: The hardware seems to be high quality. The screens are sharp and bright, and the unit feels solid and durable. The Bad: The drivers were a huge pain to install. Just when I thought it was working correctly, it stops. Here's what happens: - Both screens come on. You can even move apps or browser windows onto them. - As soon as you try to *do* anything on screen 2 (top) like play a video or scroll the browser window, the driver crashes and it enters an endless loop of crashing and restarting. Both monitors cycle off and on throughout this process. All you can do is unplug it or disable the monitor in Windows display settings. - If you disable just screen 2, screen 1 works normally. But why would I buy this product for only half of it to work? Also, it only works this much with the USB-C cable connection. It's also supposed to work with HDMI+USB, but Windows never even recognizes screen 2 with this cable configuration. There's a USB cable with wall power adapter in the box, but nothing in the instructions tells you when or why to use it. The documentation clearly claims "single-cable connection". If they update the drivers to fix this critical problem, I'll also update my review. I would give it 1 star, but the hardware really does seem to be quite good. I just wish it worked! Update (May 2025) - New ThinkPad laptop and now it doesn't work at all. I'm taking off another star. Don't waste your money.

Double the Screens, Double the Productivity
I recently got my hands on this dual-screen portable monitor stand, and let me tell you, it's been a game-changer for my workflow. Right off the bat, the color accuracy and vibrancy of these screens caught my eye. I'm talking crisp, vivid displays that make everything from spreadsheets to videos pop. Now, you might be thinking, "Two extra screens must take up a ton of space, right?" Wrong. This design is sleek and surprisingly space-efficient. The screens sit one above the other, not side-by-side, so it barely takes up more desk space than my laptop alone. But the real magic? It's like having two additional monitors without the clutter. The boost in productivity can't be overstated. Having the extra screens lets me spread out my work, keep reference material handy, and multitask like a pro. It feels like I've got a command center at my fingertips. Setup was a breeze, too. It's literally plug-and-play. My laptop powers the screens directly, so no need for extra power cables cluttering up my workspace. A single Type-C cable is all it takes to get everything up and running. No fuss, no muss. Overall, this portable monitor stand has been a stellar addition to my setup. It's efficient, user-friendly, and has significantly improved my work efficiency. Highly recommended for anyone looking to up their productivity game without sacrificing space.

An actual workable solution
Great portable monitor for travel. Works well and doesn't take up a lot of room. It's weighs about the same as my laptop so not a huge uplift in additional weight. Recently I have had issues that looks like others have had with the top screen not activating once I plug my work laptop in ( I didn't have this issue with my personal laptop). I rebooted it and it came back up but I don't want to have to reboot my laptop every day to get it to work. If I had of written this before that happened, I would have given it 5 stars. But otherwise this is a good solution for someone who travels and needs more than their laptop screen or doesn't sit at a traditional desk

Clunky driver required for both Windows and Mac
Positives: pretty good screen quality, and excellent build for traveling. The case is strong that I do not need a monitor bag. Issues: I had to return another dual screen portable monitor because it did not work with Mac, but worked with Win without drivers. While this monitor works with both Win and Mac, it does not work well. A USB drive shows up asking to install drivers, and even after installation, you constantly had to close the popup window, both in Win and Mac, that USB drive is connected and disconnected. While the dual screen works, the software/driver is poorly written. I had to re-arrange monitor position after either reboot or sleep, both in Win and Mac.

Took about two weeks from the USA but normal for Australia, the device is nicely boxed and comes with all the cables you need. The dual displays only work through using USB-C cable (HDMI is only the lower display), I personally use a USB-C phone charger as it takes the power delivery pressure off the connection from the PC and lets it focus on display delivery. The included power brick is for the US, but any phone charger supply's enough power. Overall as a working monitor for Documents/Youtube etc is great and the fact it folds and protects both screens during transit is a plus for me as those other single portable monitors get damaged easily in a backpack. Would recommend, will use for a few years, once a 4k dual display comes down in price, i will upgrade as my laptop is 4K OLED so will match better. Tips: 1, Plug in the USB-C cable only first for it to display the driver drive (windows/Mac drivers to install). 2, Go into display settings in windows and set to 100% (defaults to 150% zoom) makes everything look big so change to 100% and creates a lot more screen space

When i search for dual monitor in amazon it shows me this one and the one from Ingnok . Because this one has alot more review (ingnok only got 90 something) so base on this i though this should be a good choice. However when i get it i found few issue with this monitor. 1) it needs to install a software before i can use two monitors. 2) when computer went to sleep mode , the upper monitor is not completely off. It is in black but binking. Until you power off the monitors by press and hold the power button. 3) both monitors has to been same setting (brightness, sharpness..etc) when i power off all setting is gone. 4) cant use those two monitor from different computers. Cause its only one usb-c control two monitor and no choice for separate input. End up i return it and get "Ingnok Folding Dual Computer Monitor, 15.6" IPS FHD" this one solve all the problem i mentioned above.

Edit: innoview staff contacted me and we're very gracious and kind to solve my issue. I now have a working monitor and am loving it again! Old review: Loved this monitor when i got it, I knew that colour recreation wasn't going to be the best but I need it more for productivity so I didn't mind paying the extra bit to have a 3 screen (laptop monitor included) solution. I bought this monitor as a solution for myself to help with editing on the go but just this past month I tried using it while traveling and nothing I do will make the top monitor connect again. I tried, reinstalling the software after uninstalling, new cables (TB4) and powering the monitor separately while connected to the computer. all typical solutions won't allow it to connect. "TL:DR" Overall if you want a long-term solution for a dual-screen monitor, this isn't it!

This is a great business tool and I can’t travel without it. The monitor is well built. The hinged design is great and very high quality. I had a small issue with set up and the customer support walked me through the problem (they are in China so expect answers in the middle of the night). The refresh rate and resolution are both very good. This monitor must be connected to a wall outlet as my Mac doesn’t have enough power to support it through the USBC connection. That’s my only minor complaint.

Actually if driver is not an issue this is an awesome product. Your office computer do not allow you to download drivers due to admin rights... I tried working on citrix... top monitor no display and citrix gave wired flicker... please check pics... I wish this would have worked for me but will return it as I don't want 600$ paper weight
