Okay, I have been on an eight year search for the right pillow--aka any pillow that provides the right balance of support and comfort, and where I don't wake up with a chronically sore neck. It's been a long journey, but I think it has finally come to an end. Which is good, because I don't think my linen closet can hold a single additional discarded pillow. There are about 20 stacked in there.I started with tempurpedic pillows which worked great until a year or two later when suddenly that stopped being comfortable. Switched to a different style within the same brand--nope, they just didn't work for me anymore. Then started all the others. Memory foam. Shredded memory foam. Cervical neck pillows, dog bone pillows, extra support pillows, some sort that was made of molded memory foam and was designed for back sleeping in the middle and side sleeping on the wings (which I took a knife to in order to deepen the head cavity), rolled up towel, rolled up towel stuffed into various other pillows... You name it, I've tried it. And then four and ten months later went back and tried it again. And still, chronically sore neck which chiropractors and massage couldn't even fix.By the time I was 15 or so pillows in, I knew what I wanted: solid support directly under my neck that was firm enough, yet soft. Something that was either molded to the exact shape of my neck (and could work back or side since I sleep on both), or that I could mold into the right shape.Then... Staying in someone's guest room, I slept on their old feather pillow. I'd always avoided feather pillows, because I'd been forced to use an understuffed one as a child during a visit to my grandmother's house. It was like sleeping with your head on a flat mat, so I said never again. But I tried this one and--it molded! I could grab a hold of it and squish it into the shape I needed and it was soft yet supportive. I asked them if I could take it home and slept on it for about a year, but the problem was that it had a tendency to spring back to a flat shape if you moved or adjusted very much at all. I'd readjust in the middle of the night and end up with nothing packed under my neck and, thus, another neck ache in the morning. So for Christmas, I bought myself these new pillows in the queen size gussetted style.They're everything I've been looking for. Soft, supportive, moldable. They don't mat down or turn into a hard block under your head. They have a slight "spring back" but the pillow doesn't unmold itself when you move, it just poofs a little and gets a little fuller. I can fold them double or scrunch them up and they 80% stay how I put them. They're pretty much the one. And I can say "the one" because I only have one now since my husband stole the other!If you have resonated with my pillow journey, give these a try. You won't be disappointed.

I love my pillows and love that they come in a package of two. I’m a side and back sleeper and these pillows deliver. They keep their form with just the right amount of plush and firmness. They are exactly like the video shows and that’s what I needed to see before ordering. My neck is no longer sore or stiff. Definitely a high quality pillow and for a great price too. I really hope you try this pillow for yourself!

I slept in my guest room and realized I needed new pillows. These are nice, good value and perfect for my guest room.

Not down soft at all.But yes Like hotel pillows..cheap hotels. And they make a crinkly type noise when you try to sleep on them

Just the right firmness for me, comfortable

I like down and down/feather pillows because they are easy to shape while I'm trying to get comfortable just before sleeping. These pillows are no exception. I shape them every night to accommodate my knobby skull and then go on and have a Good Night's Sleep. I like the fact that these pillows are gusseted. They tend to lie more flat on the bed which increases their comfort significantly.I did launder these pillows before I slept on them. They survived the laundry process rather well - but I think that was because I fluffed the pillows several times during the drying. The fluffing was breaking up any clumps in the fill. The pillows were dry, well fluffed, and ultimately very comfortable to sleep upon.I'll buy a second set before long. I like these pillows very much.

I ordered two sets of puredown pillows and they had a horrible smell. I washed exactly as instructions stated. They smell even worse and are lumpy and not fluffing up. I contacted puredown and they did nothing except instruct me to contact amazon. Amazon at their expense gave me partial credit and said I should contact puredown. I have attempted several times and received nothing from puredown. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.I had a seller today contact me because I returned an item to see if they could help with anything.. I explained they had a wonderful product but it just didn’t match my decor. Puredown has been the worst experience I’ve ever had on Amazon.

Surprised by any ratings that these are/become too thin. I’ve owned my 2-pack for over 6 months, and I’m considering opening the seam to remove feathers, as it’s too thick for my likings.4 stars because they don’t have any zippers to open the pillow, which would allow users to remove feathers for their desired thickness.also, these pillows do have branding… At least mine do. Contrary to the user who said they only say “made in china.”

I feel like I was misled. They are advertized as "Puredown" and yet while there is a bedding company called Puredown in California I believe, there is no such product name (or any mfg name for that matter) on these pillows. Only indication as to their origin is China.Yes, they are pillows. While they fluff up and look inviting, after sleeping on them for a short while it seems as if your head is lying flat on something harder than your mattress. They need a lot more fill. Serves me right for buying pillows on-line trying to save a few bucks and not in a specialty shop.

I bought these pillows to my daughter and she loves them, they are really light but comfy for head. Ordering more now, more than satisfied with this product! Thank you seller for quality!
