I've only taken it out once so far and it was pretty windy so I didn't actually stand on it and paddle yet but it was super fun to kneel or sit on and paddle around. I was very impressed with just how rigid this board is when inflated. Everyone that tried it made the comment about how sturdy it seemed. The non-slip deck for standing on has great grip and worked very well. I do wish it came with an electric pump instead of a hand pump but it worked and we managed to get it filled up to the 12psi between my husband and I taking turns at pumping. Probably took 10-12 minutes. I also was able to carry it myself and get it from the truck to the water. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to get an affordable and good quality SUP!

UPDATE!! Replacement arrived with all the components. No leaks and it performed great on our 1st paddle!!Arrived well packaged but missing the detachable fin. Emailed AKSPORT per the instructions for any missing parts. We did however inflate it and tried it in the pool. It’s sturdy, has well placed carry straps and d rings. Unfortunately , the next morning we discovered it was leaking at the valve. We took video and sent a second email to AKSPORT. After 2 emails over 2 days with no response, we chose to return to Amazon and have a replacement sent. I will update once we receive the replacement. If you have issues, don’t waste your time emailing AKSPORTS, just return to Amazon.

We bought two of these for our family to use and we love them. We've been out on them 4 times in the last couple of weeks and they appear to be high quality. Great durability for a good price. Performance wise they seem good but we're new at this and can only compare them to the beginner rigid SUPs we tried in Hawaii. At first they felt a bit wobblier than we expected (likely because they are inflatable and ride on top of the water) and we were comfortable by the end of the first outing. Both of our elementary school boys can paddle and balance on them just fine.Both pumps worked as expected and the pressure gauges are fully functional. It just takes a whole lot of pumping even past when you think the SUP might be full to get up to the air pressure to start to register on the gauge. I think we could handle pumping one manually regularly but with two boards we've ordered an electric pump. A few quick tips to help with any air leaks around the inflation valve when pumping up:1. Use the little wrench that's provided to cinch the valve by following the included instructions.2. The pump comes with two little rubber o-rings - one already attached to the SUP end of the hose and another floating in the bag. We found that the one in the bag is a little thicker than the one already attached to the hose and seals better with valve, especially when it's put on with the groove facing outward.3. Make sure the air release pin is in the up (fill) position before you attach the hose to start pumping, otherwise a bunch of air escapes when you detach the hose and you'll have to redo all that hard work to get back up to 15psi again.We're knocking off 1 star because of the questionable quality of the carrying bag. It appears to be a pretty good design with nice hip belts and padding in all the right places and has compression straps to keep things from shifting around. The zipper is not particularly heavy duty though and the stitching seems a bit weak. Some of the stitching in the compression straps is already pulling out and we're not cinching them overly tight. All that being said, we have no regrets buying the pair of these and recommend them to anybody looking for a quality budget SUP.

My teens and their friends love taking this to the lake. 3yrs later and still functions perfectly!

Everything works like it should. Seem just gave put. Had 15 lbs of pressure in it.Do yourself a favor and buy an aftermarket storage bag. They don't break like the cheap ones that come with it.

We decided to get our son this. We went with this brand due to a great sale, great color combo, and a great shipping timeline. Overall reviews seemed good. Should have checked specific reviews. Will do that now. First one made it in water once and had to turn back halfway due to noticing a small leak in side of board. Pumped to 13 PSI originally and lost approx 2.5 PSI in a few hours in a area on side that looked to not be sewn well (or however sides are sealed together). It was very obvious where air was coming from. Gave it a chance thinking it could be a fluke and exchanged it. Exchange came quickly, but return was not exactly convenient. Second one never made it into the water. Pumped it to 12 PSI, and it started leaking air uncontrollably through the main inflate/deflate area of the board where air should not come out. It was not sealed well again and could see where it was not sewn or sealed together correctly. It was not where the pump attaches, but the material attaching that circular section to rest of board. So frustrating. Our other boards from another company have been amazing. We will just be patient and wait longer to get one of those.

On the recommendation of my daughter we bought this board, it is super fun to use it now in summer, easy to install everything and very good quality.

Bought this paddle board as a Christmas gift for my daughter. Being in MB we couldn’t use it till now (June). All in all very happy with the quality for the price. My daughter (12) was able to pump up the board to the point where she only needed our help to get to the recommended psi, once inflated she was easily able to carry and maneuver the board around. Once In the water, the board was sturdy and stable, she was able to guide it down a creek with a few small rapids easily, both on her own and with her smaller cousin sitting on the front. The board also stood up to the trials given to it by a bunch of kids (ranging from 8-15years) flipping it over and all around rough housing. At one point there were 6 of them on the board and the game was to see who could stay on the longest 🤣. I think even if it hadn’t have survived the weekend I would have still given the 5🌟review just for the amount of enjoyment that was had with it.

I personally didn’t think this was hard to inflate. Yes, it gets a little more difficult towards 8-12PSI, but I can still get this thing inflated in 10 minutes with the pump provided. I didn’t have any valve leaking issues like other buyers did. I have a beach 5 minutes down the road, and can carry the board there inflated. Personally, It’s easier to carry if you lift it over your head and use your head as support. It takes me about 8 minutes to carry it down the road on a windless day. It is a little tiring to carry down to the beach, but I prefer doing that than pumping it up at the beach. Note: I am of a moderate activity level, strength/HIIT training 5 days a week.The only thing that’s not as sturdy would be the paddle itself. The handle spins around sometimes during use and isn’t snug. There is a screw that can be screwed tighter though, I just haven’t gotten around to doing that yet. However, it doesn’t cause an issue when paddling, so it’s not a big deal.

It is a bit of a workout to inflate but it doesn't take as long as I expected. The board is stable for my 6' 200lb frame.

Bearing in mind I've used it twice in the last year in the sea. It is strong and great for one or two people. Good oar and foot strap. All that came with it is great quality. The straps on the board are good too. Would defo recommended waterproof bags and phone bag. If you can afford it then an electric pump would be great as it's hard work to pump it up. Once it did unlatch when being pumped up so careful of that. I would buy another of these to have one each rather than a higher quality one. Well worth it. Opens up a new part of the world.
